I fully agree! Jagya is not the right guy for Ganga. Ganga has suffered all through her life and suffered way more than other female characters of this show - with all the constant violence - verbal, emotional and physical. She deserves to be with a guy like Shyam (who'd go to any extent to make Sugna smile!) or Shiv, who is mature, wise, has empathy and is mentally sound himself.
Jagya maybe on his nth path of reformation now or may be nice. But he is not wise, not balanced emotionally, his basic nature is impulsive and he isn't giving, nor patient or emotionally intelligent. Plus he's unpredictable (you never know what his mind can veer into!) and he is recovering himself. So how will he heal Ganga or make her life filled with happiness?
So far Jagya's only saved Ganga with his herogiri. It is the Singhs who've tried to make Ganga happy and most of the psychological healing has come from them and Anandi, not Jagya.
He's a confused guy and is on a shaky ground himself. He shouted at her and that took Ganga back to her days of abuse, that she got so scared. Jagya needs to change a lot to be an ideal man for Ganga and that change isn't going to come over anytime soon in a man like him.
Ganga doesn't just need a nice guy. She needs an ideal and the perfect guy, someone who's goodness personified.
I myself do not approve of Jagya for Ganga.
I should also add, Singhs are also not past Anandi yet and till now, they have ended up comparing Ganga (and her cooked food etc.) to Anandi and time and time again said no one can be like Anandi. Ganga may take it in right spirit now because she's thankful to all of them and is in awe of them (Anandi included). But Ganga deserves those who value her for who she is (I think she's suffered more than Anandi and has been way bolder than Anandi in fighting against injustice meted to her because she was on her own always, unlike Anandi who had Bhairon or later whole Singh family to support her)
and Singhs can't give her that, nor can Jagya (who *still loves* Anandi! Ha!).
I don't want Ganga to live under someone else's shadow or forever try to emulate someone else.
She does NOT deserve stupid Singhs or Jagya (whose supposed reformation has not been completed yet).

Firstly, I don't think marriage is necessary or compulsory at all for a woman's happiness (or even a man's) or the only panacea for all her suffering and wounds she's suffered in life.
Secondly, given the abuse and level of struggle Ganga has faced all her life I want her to have an ideal man for herself if she is to have one. Not someone like Jagya who, even if reforming, is still on a shaky ground mentally.
I do not agree with your points about love being one sided or two sided because I feel both Ganga and Jagya are not in love with each other as of now. She is only grateful to him and he only helped her out of humanity plus as his way to somehow atone for the sins he'd committed against women in his own life. Love or attraction has not happened between the two as of now.
And as I said, I don't want Ganga to live under someone else (read Anandi's) shadow and be compared to her all the time either by Singhs or at any point of time by Jagya. It's a nice but stupid family in which except Bhairon no one knows appropriate way to talk and are never sensitive to what impact their words would have on the other. I wish Ganga either lives independently like Phooli or gets an ideal family and a perfect man.
Please read whole post instead of basing your replies on just one part which you focus on and highlight in bold. Thanks!
