In Singh family, decisions depend on the whims and fancy of DS. Nobody tells her that she is wrong at least in some of her decisions. Even if BS protests, it is either ignored or ultimately he ends up doing nothing against any decision he thinks wrong (e.g. Jagya amnesia drama). And Jagya is ladesar, DS cannot agree that marriage with Gauri was his mistake. She will always blame Gauri for whatever happened. Yes it looks strange that they are so considerate towards strangers (like Ganga), but never remembered Gauri.
For viewers (unless they are ardent fans of Gauri or Jagya), both Jagya and Gauri charecters are like engima. Gauri as Gudia, was against her bal vivah, wanted to study and was happy when the marriage was declare null and void. Adult Gauri was introduced as a bright student looked like a sweet girl. Her transformation into a planning/plotting girl full of revenge and hatered towards Anandi was just not understandable. During childhood marriage, she was not so young that she cannot remeber that she was being married against her wish by her own parents. The anger and revenge, if directed towards her parents and DS, could be understandable. CVs ruined her charecter and made her negative so she will have less sympathy from viewers also and like Singhs not many viewers will think of Gauri in Jagya marriage track.
As for Jagya, they experimented with his charecter so much, that viewers still cant decide whether this is final redemption or some shades of grey are still there, of his six alter egos, how many are still there. Why he did not remembered Gauri? Why only after Ganga's word did he think that he wronged Gauri also?
And Singhs specially BS should think about court cases in which Jagya is involved before pressurizing him to marry again. His wife will suffer if Jagya gets jail term in those cases, and Jagya will get unnecessary sympathy because of his wife's suffering. Or like in other serials, in BV also court cases automatically forgotten once the culprit gets bail?
