The only reason what I am seeing is... Toral is being bashed for being

a) too mature looking

b) has a dark complexion (which is clear from teh way they compare her to phooli. I mean the girl who played Phooli was a WONDERFUL actress!!)

I mean I am amazed at the complex!!! No one has issues with Gehna's replacement is cause she is gori chitti !!!!

And the acterss who played phooli had her own charm. She was a voice of reason and really really beatiful expressive eyes. She played the girl who had lost her baby such nicely. A beautiful support for Anandi through out and now just cause she is not "gori chitti" people are trashing her.

Amazing !

Now that Toral has the same complexion people are ignoring her acting, yes she is weak in emotional scenes but so was pratyusha in her way of speaking slowly and shaking her tooo much. Always maintaing a monotonous way of speaking (according to many). But that was ignored cause of her complexion!

I guess people don't realize that Toral's look is how we Indians look. Simple, smiling, homely.

just a heads up - Prats is not a gori chitti lal tamaatar. Majority sane complaints against Toral is that she does not suit Anandi and trust me - I tried with a open mind..I found her constipated in romantic scenes.Am not trying to bash her looks - I think she looks good and has a great voice but she just dont seem to get Anandi is the gripe of 98% comments. 2% can be ignored can there are insane bashers in either side.

She will get it (crying side of Anandi and romantic side) fine.

well for me thats not what Anandi is. As long as she gets the justice side I am fine with the Anandi they have at hand.

But thats ok you have your own thing I got mine.

Suchi - Back.

1. You call Prats arrogant for saying that she will be seen without a veil. Fair enough. What will you call the production house/director who changed the lead actor of a most watched television series in 2 days notice? Is that not arrogance?

We are the Production house. We will change anything we want in no time. You have no choice but to see what we give you. I find this attitude appalling and cheap and monopolistic.

Heck...Barun's exit was announced 10 days before the show was shut. Gia's exit was announced 2 weeks before and SP had promos all over with the other leads introducing the new Gopi Vahu - but why should that happen in BV? BV director is god. He can change any face without prior notice and we will accept whatever god throws in our way..right?

The BV makers did not give Pratyusha a graceful exit and shortchanged the viewers by such short announcement. So..I will voice my displeasure to them even after the forum dictated mourning period.

2. Forget Toral not getting the act... I think she is not effective in the justice mode also..but thats just me. The excessive talking of what a fantastic replacement T is, articles releasing about TRPs not getting affected even before the official release of TRPs and talking about Prats being forgotten (what a joke) is COLORS making a fool of themselves and are trying to make viewers a fool too. I disapprove and will voice my displeasure even for god forbid 285 days.

3. The members of this forum who support Prats are obviously affected because like you they were also emotionally attached to the show and the blatant and CALLOUS disregard of the most basic sentiments have left them angered.

4. When such a major change happens...people are bound to create posts against the show. After all, all of us are emotional idiots. You have every right to give as much time you want for T - we will not ask you why you want to give her so much leeway. I will not give T any point and the other side cannot ask me why I will not accomodate T.

This is the gist of what I feel and I think I speak for the most of "us".

In a way am happy for you that BV has not been ruined for you like it has for most of us. We would have given anything to be in your side...not to have our BV ruined and to have still enjoyed our AnSh. Alas..It isn't so.

Or they could have changed the story to suit the replacement. The replacement may have been done before marriage of Anandi or may be after a little leap (replacements are acceptable after leap, just like Prats replaced Avika).

IN the u me aur tv segment itself they hinted that, where is smoke def. there is fire. I do not say taht Ph did not do any mistakes they might have. But for me the track record counts. So far they have given all their actors/actress the deserved break every single time.

And pratz seems just with GLEE...happiness... that she is finally washed her hands of the show. I just lost it. I have no respect for her now. You guyz do not watch toral right.. I do not watch all those scenes with anandi of 3 years any more.

She with her laugh, happiness of leaving the show, talksabout improving her beauty, vacation, and calling Anandi a girl in Veil (reducing her to that) thats it. That Anandi is gone. Those videos I made for hours.. they just sit there. I do not watch any of them. All her smile, acting, everything seems fake.

Ok .. chalo lets just assume it was a BIGGG injustice done to Pratz.. how come she is all set to do a show in SP and according to some the timing is going to be at 8:00 PM??? wow!!! amazing.

For Surekha ji they gave her an exit for 4 months, For sumitra they did the same. So no their track record shows they give rest and vacation to their actors and even leads (i.e. Avika)

She really thinks SP is going to let her sit with vacations? No dear.. simple matter of the fact. She got tired of playing Anandi.

What I am saying is... criticize toral alll you want. But please ( I know you dont do it) people should stop bashing her for her looks, call her aunty , old.

Want the channel to shut down BV ! thats why I am angry. Supporting one actress who dosen't give a damn and wanting to snatch the livelihood of soo many ... is just not right.

So no dear i will not tell you to stop criticizing toral but once anyone criticizes her for her looks I will come and speak. Once people talk about shutting the BV then i will come and tell them to get lost from this forum. Once they come and tell that Sid should also leave Balika vadhu.. I will tell them to go away. And No they cannot tell me that I am moral policing or handcuffing or dancing.

Suchi come down dear.I think u hv taken the ibn7 interview too seriously.Why do u hate prats?Just bcoz she said now I wont be wearing veil?Do u think wearing a veil is something of gr8 honor and if she said their wud be no veil is a great disregard to Anandi?All of us always said Anandi shud now take that thing off so were we disregarding Anandi? She just meant that now ppl will see her in a different avtar...something modern.Whats so wrong in that?

She played Anandi with heart and soul.Whatever be the issues with the PH or channel how can we say she had lost regard for the show.If she had lost regard she wont have out-performed herself in ever scene.And even till the last scene.Your dedication is visible from the work you do.

And Suchi u urself said what we all are trying to say...in any case if she has accepted SP's show she knows again scheduele wud be same.So when she had to do tv only why wud she leave THE BALIKA VADHU???? Just bcoz her character wears ghagra choli and is from a village???and she wanted to wear skirts and jeans not sarees.Does that make any sense.She was doing the strongest character on TV...she had the most experienced of the co-stars working with her...she had the brand name colors...she had a gr8 co-actor with whom she had developed an awesome chemistry. My question is why wud she leave all this if she had to do a tv show only??

And I dont get this concept of she was bored playing Anandi! The character bought her success,fame,money,recognition,respect...why wud she herself leave it?????and that too for TV??
