Actually I like gia in her new show. She wears good dresses and she is showing her flair for comedy. SNS made her serious and naive bahu which was so monotonous. If everyone fears failure, no progress can be made. Even Smriti Irani's show on Sony was really good. for me quality matters than quantity. In Pratyusha's case, it will be an uphill task and I hope she will come back to Colors in some other iconic show with Shiv or Jagya.

I think it is Pratyusha's own decision as Colors is not as draconian as Star. So dont bash the channel or the new entry. Give everyone time to prove themselves.

Dont forget that gia's show is pitted at a highly competitive slot with the most competitive serials on all the prime channels. Inspite of that Gia's show is being appreciated and I prefer to watch it than heavy duty stuff on other channels sometimes.

I like Gia in her new show too. In the SP one she had no scope at all and it seemed as if she had only one expression to show. She seems to be enjoying herself in the new show. But I commented about the quality of the show. Slot makes a difference but then if the show is accepted then slot does not matter. BALH started in same slot as the already successful Pratiggya but it made a place for itself. 9 PM slot used to be competitive with shows like KBC, Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Astitva etc., but Kusum made a place for itself. 8:30 PM slot has forever been one of the most competitive slots yet Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma succeeded (despite being a comedy).

Quality and acceptance of the show also matters.

I've always said it could be possible that Prats wanted a change of image or was probably not interested in playing a mother so soon (Anandi had to be shown pregnant sometime or the other now!).

I agree one has to take risks. But so far no one has really succeeded except for Ram Kapoor and Sakshi (and in past Sangita Ghosh). So wishing Prats all the best. Good for her if she can break the jinx.

Colors should be spared of bashing. Unnecessary brickbats coming their way. It may suffer but it won't be doomed. SP was said to be doomed when K serials ended, Amitabh Bachchan left KBC and popular faces like Sakshi, Smriti, Shweta, Cezanne Khan, Ronit Roy, Kiram Karmarkar etc. all disappeared from its shows. It may have suffered a dip for a while but all its new shows picked up in a big way and now it is the no. 1 channel again. And it made stars, icons out of rank newcomers all over again. Colors seems to have a solid team behind them and it's the same channel that toppled a giant like Star Plus in 2008. It isn't going to suffer the NDTV Imagine fate by any means!

mam ur words r like gold...bt i m happy for prats..wish she comes on a good show on star plus..also she is vry hard workng..i met her durng petal awards...so i notice... she is vry polite nd ofcourse no tantrums like gia...sry its truth..also she left Colors on good terms..maybe she can come on a new show

PH pulled her out?! Which PH in their right mind would kick out their lead of their flagship show? And that too, at such a crucial juncture?!

Also, don't mind, but Prats' statements/reported actions don't make sense. If she wanted to be with her mother, then what's with the Goa vacation? Who goes on vacation if one's mother is so serious? And if she wanted to take rest due to her health, be with mother, focus on personal life then why start a new show for SP in April itself? What's the use of such a short break? How will she focus on family or her own health now?

PH and channel promoted AnSh marriage in a big way, why'd they even focus on Anandi if they had to kick the actress out? They aren't fools to put a axe on their own feet with their own hands!
