Libs, excellent post. You and I have agreed on this Forum about BV's continued success and am delighted that we have been proved right. BV has a story, which has continuity. There were brief moments when the writers went slightly off target, like Jagya and 6 demons 😆, but very quickly came back on track.

I think the TRP topic is not a celebration rather more of a retaliation to those who predicted doom for the show and also to reinstate our faith in the show. There's positivity too. Not all are gloomy or giving up on the show and this is what such topics show IMO. BV was never about TRPs. The content and the message form its core essence. TRPs ki baat hoti toh they'd have kept all masala intact and the Anandi-Shiv-Jagya would forever continue as a triangle!

Agree with you. Yeah after Shiv's entry many new people started liking BV due to romance and forum became more about celebrating jodi, fan fictions, VMs etc. Whereas in past we'd have thought provoking debates on issues raised in the show, character's psyche etc. and spoof threads by Ankit and laughathon in Jetsar Times.
BTW, I am "Annika 20" (the same one who'd have debates and the same one with whom you had a tiff...). 😛

I was glad to interact with you on SMJ forum (my old ID was still there) and I am happy you bear no grudges (or perhaps didn't remember! 😉 ).

BV for me is still more than your average daily soap and I love how they examine psyche of all characters and explore dynamics of their interaction, in the process they always give a thought provoking message. So with its ups and downs, it's still a habit! And I keep coming to the forum, still hoping for the debates and discussions which used to happen in those days!
BV forum was also unlike any other serial's forum...class apart and I am sure it will return to its original state!

Hmm.. we have to wait and see how the story unfolds. It will be better if they keep the two tracks shiv-anandi and jag-ganga separate in different towns :-)

Wow, am I late for our old forum members reunion? Parri and Annika so happy to see you guys back 🤗. I agree we did have some very thought provoking debates and discussions in the past and now with a few of you back may be we can reinstall the old times. Will try to get the old gang back.
