Many are claiming prats had an innocent look which toral lacks. Vision is a human sensory organ so no doubt even if we deny, looks does matters and affects our sentiments...its natural . But if we dig deeper and take out facts--- is it liable that a girl married of so young faced so much struggle and hardships in life but still looks so cute and innocent??Its way too shallow.
Only overpampered mehlon ki rajkumaris can have such appearance and personality...

BV always did a great job, this time by breaking the stereotype in looks department...
I am posting it once again----I feel its high time serials portray women of India as strong and bold keeping Indian culture in mind, not a meek pretty doll..

The main problem with viewers is accepting new anandi is toral dies not have a innocent face ad young look. BV s mostly watched by woman. Being woman they r very based on looks. So this proves that they r more concerned by her looks than acting. Why cannot a little bit older looking girl be accepted as a female lead. Why should anandi be innocent ? In reality a girl like anandi who suffered a lot in her life must have lost her innocence way back. BV team choose prats bcos as a teenager she was apt for the role who looked very innocent. Now she has struggled a lot and became a sarpanch too. Do u see any sarpanch having innocent face. My mother-in-law was a sarpanch few years back and she was strong, energetic and at the same time very homely and lovable caring wife to my father-in-law. She is very independent at work but in personal life she always takes her husband advice to solve family matters. The new anandi will be like my mother-in-law strong, authoritative at work but very lovable, caring at home.
Can anyone show me a girl who suffered like anandi in real life and still has the innocence in her face ?

Yes sheets. Its also very dissappointing to see so many viewers has opinion to such an extent that they start comparing anandi's looks with shiv as if a woman looking elder and more matured than her husband is a sin. Bhale hi admi 50 saal ka dikhe but women is pressurised to look sweet 16 or else she is demeaned. Arre even vidya balan once told women grow more beautiful with age. Its a typical backward view towards indian women.

Women are capable human beings not a good looking object beside her husband. In real life also 90% pple has such viewpoint.

Why do ppl on this forum think that a petite and innocent looking girl cannot be a strong woman? Its so darn illogical.Have u ever heard abt Rosa Sparks or Mother Teresa or Yulia Timoshenko - Some of the most famous women activist and social reformers world has seen...who inspite of their petite frame and benevolent looks took the world by a storm! And no of them was an over-pampered princess. So pls atleast dont make fun of all such "real" women who inspite of all these physical characteristics have made a mark in the society.

I am not making fun of those women but telling those pple who pressurises women to look young and beautiful. Beauty is a natural god gifted virtue not a compulsion. Please read my post properly to bring out the thought in it. But still I liked your individual viewpoint.
