I do not plan to imitate Pratyusha: Toral Rasputra No, there will be no plastic surgeries in Colors' Balika
Vadhu, but viewers will get to see a new Anandi as
Toral Rasputra has replaced Pratyusha Banerjee for
this particular role of one of the most loved TV bahus. In fact, the actress too did not know that she was
auditioning for the role, as she tells us, "I was called
for the audition but wasn't told that it was for the role
of Anandi. It was only later that I received a call
saying that I was finalised to play Anandi. I couldn't
believe what I was hearing and at the same time I am super excited to play the role." So will the actress be able to live up to the audiences
expectations? "I believe in myself; moreover this is
something that I was waiting to happen. And now that
I have got the role, I am going to put my heart and
soul in it and I am confident that the audience will
accept me." Toral, who began shooting on 2 March 2013, does not
believe in imitating others. Therefore she plans to be
herself as Anandi. "I will be myself. Hence, viewers
will find a difference in the way Pratyusha emoted and
the way I will. But I do not plan to imitate her in at all,"
the actress states. Though most of the cast of Balika Vadhu is new for
Toral, however she does have a friend on the sets, as
she avers, "When I was being introduced to the cast, I
happened to meet Sriti (Jha) who is playing Ganga. I
was really excited to see her. We are planning to have
a blast together." On plans of building up chemistry with her co-star
Siddharth Shukla (Shiv), she observes, "It will happen
slowly. But, it's not just with Shiv alone, I need to
establish the same with every other actor of the show.
And I know it for sure that it will happen slowly." Toral's entry will air tonight (4 March 2013).
