Prats wasnt skeleton she was quite ok and thats what a normal person should be. But I remember when there was a transition from avika to prats many could not accept prats as they had the picture of avika in mind. But gradually pple started liking her. CVs wont do something to loose trps as its their loss so have faith pple.. All will like the new actress 😊

well , she does look older but that is not as bad as her dialogue delivery. she looks kinda rude and rough compared to Pratyusha. and also there is no chemistry as such with Shiv. She doesn't look shy naturally , looks like she forces herself to behave coy. she has to get some more sensitivity in her acting.

I am totally with you on Amandi and jagya flashback it became a nightmare to me and used to apprehend may be she will start jagya it was dreadful past for me

1/ No more BODY DOUBLE, well atleast for the next couple of months (I hope)

2/ No more flash back, Not Anandi's nor Jagya's. I say "Thank God". I hated the flash back. I wanted to let the director know, 'I watched it the first time, don't need to show it again and again"

3/ Maybe the show can move a little forward, toward Pregnancy. I didn't get the feeling that Prats wanted to be a MOM on the show. She seems a little too young. New Anandi looks a little bit more mature and will be willing to be a mother on screen.

4/ I think the story will become better, for Both Shiv & Anandi and Jagya & Ganga. Because before Anandi was the core character. Now with central character change, the writers have a chance to change/migrate the look and scope of the show. They HAVE to in order to keep the viewers hooked on the initial months of the change.

Well those were the my points. Lets hope they come true.

As far as the New Anandi goes, Good Luck. She does have a hard shoes to fill. Both Avika and Prats did justice to the character. But nothing is impossible. I hope and pray that the charm and grace of the Anandi (the character) will remain the same with the new Lady's acting.

I am glad you made a positive topic. I think new Anandi is more suitable for maturity which needed to be portrayed by Anandi. She's around same age as Anandi the character is supposed to be. She'll be more suited and more comfortable playing a mother. I like her voice. Her dialogue delivery is better (unless she rushes it). And she is definitely more convincing in scenes required to show a bold or professional (social reformer) Anandi.

Finally, what's happened has happened.

Please! I don't mean to be some moral police but is this BV forum? What kind of words are being used for actors? I don't know how mods are allowing it and not warning members.

When Prats entered, people said she didn't look as young as Anandi should and that she looked like Gehna and of same age as Gehna (though Anandi's supposed to be younger). Even when J-A-G triangle started, many favoured Anjum and said she was more beautiful, more suited to Jagya and a better actress.

I am curious at members here (including spurt of "newbies"). When Sid had arrived, why were some bashing Prats in every new thread and calling her ugly or a dwarf who didn't suit Sid in any way?!!!

In recent months every time there's gadar on the forum and bashing of actors!!!

What's with this?! Now sudden love for Prats and so many insensitive adjectives, abuses and regressive trash hurled at Toral?

Show is about an issue and a character's journey. Not a jodi.

If Toral fits essence of Anandi then fine. That's the criteria IMO. Not whether she makes a good pair with Sid or not.

And why is it compulsory for a girl to look younger than a boy? Why is girl looking "older" than the boy considered problematic?! Funny we claim to live in modern times, yet have such regressive mindset! Odd that we lap up a 14 year old Avika with a 30+ actor as his wife, a 16 year old Prachi Desai with a 40 something Ram Kapoor as his wife, a 21 year old Neha Marda (Gehna) with a 40+ (or 50ish?) actor playing Basant, yet have problem if an actress is around same age as the actor or just 3-5 years younger! It is hypocrisy at best and misogyny!

The age comments are really unwarranted IMO.

Don't mind and don't take it personally, but I feel some people would've bashed even if Neha Bamb, Yashashri Masurkar, Sonarika or other younger, "innocent" faces had been chosen to play Anandi. Then some other reason to dislike would've come up. There's no limit to fault-finding
