OMG Troal She looks fabulous as Anandi She will certainly suit with Sid

U know she is tall toh saree use kaafi suit karti hai she looks nice with the pallu on her head

Prat mein hum sab chahte the to change her look because she looked like chote gift pack par bada wrapper.

She is a black beauty beautiful eyes, smile

I have seen her work too she can carry off sweet and spunk ek saath

very very super duper happy

I liked Pratyusha and will miss her, but change is always good. I have not heard of this Toral before, but won't say anything against her without giving her a chance first.

Have you seen Sid's interview about a day in his life where he says he shoots from 9-9:30am to 9pm? Get's up at 7, go to gym till 8, go to shoot, get's home at 10 pm. So they shoot what 9/10 hours a day, how many days a week? Show airs 6 days a week.

I just did 11 hours a day/4 days a week for 6 weeks for special project and it almost killed me, had no life, got sick, had nose bleeds, and I'm in great physical shape, excellent health, I see doctor for annual check up only. ???

Are we sure the BV/PH demands are reasonable? Sid himself has said that on days that they shoot nothing else happens except shoot and sleep!!! You want to take this schedule on?

Exactly. And he's still not the main lead - everyone else can get away with some off time, but can you imagine how hard it is for the main lead who has to be in the most frames?? I thought even when they announced that it was going to be Mon-Sat instead of Mon-Fri, that it was a bad bad bad idea. She probably got one or two days off in a year, max, and she worked for three years! And she's only 21! Rather than pretending this is all her fault, maybe people should step back and take a look at the structure and try re-imagining some things. Also, this isn't a simple corporate firm or a typical marketplace, where the dysfunctional cog is just replaced. This is an industry that rests on emotional connections, especially between the audience and the fiction, and every last thing should be done to protect that connection.

And for the record, I can put up with slow, draggy AnSh storylines and all the BD's in the world if that means it would still be Prats' angel-face as Anandi. Especially in the key moments. Because the imaginary SR and the Teri Deewani scene are two of the ones closest to my heart, and there was no BD there. It was her in her element. Those scenes made all the dragging since December worth it.

that what i thought...now Anandi looks good as 26 yrs old...now i won't associate her with Jagya also so cheers to that...the old anadi looked cute but i could never forget her past with jagya...whenever she used to talk to jagya it would look like she is again in love with him and somehow her scenes with jagya used to make her disassociate with shiv...now its a new start in perfect sense...i will miss prats but whats done is done...no one can change...i trust BV and i think they have a story to even make her fit as Anandi...maybe some leap or Anandi as mother

Mods, is it possible for us to split this thread up, or have a new one made, so that Pratyusha leaving and talking about the new replacement can be two different topics? That way people who want to be sad can be sad in peace, and people who want to be happy can be happy in peace. And neither will get on the others' nerves.

(Does anyone know how this works? Do I email Illyria or something to request for this split?)

Aparnauma ji, I know it's a team effort and I know no production house would let their lead actor go without good reason and I know she should've been smart about things when SJ came in and I'm not denying any of that. Nor am I denying anyone's right to talk about those things. This is just a matter of emotions and impulses for me, since I wasn't watching BV for rational, logical reasons anyway. 😛 But if it came across as me painting Pratyusha as a victim and everyone else as exploiters and not hard workers, I apologize, that's not how I meant it.

For me this is solely about the faces I associated with these characters. Can't dissociate them, that's all, and wanted to make sure the PH pulled at every last straw at least.

I am a book person, and when I read a book I always picture in my mind the character. So for me, My Anandi is Pratyusha, and now my Anandi will forever be Jagyas Anandi, She never get chance to be with Shiv. Some other Anandi will do SR and spend happy time with him.

I know it sound illogical, but that is how I feel, and believe me I have enough years in my but to understand that this is only serial and the real life is something else. What can I do, I got so adicted to BV, specially on AnSh, that now from Monday I would feel that Shiv is cheating on Anandi with some other women. So I will not watch it.

Becoming unaddicted sucks and probably takes time, because right now I am feeling as somebody I loved die.

🤗 We're a small group, but we all know exactly what it's like. It's funny, I'm a book person too, and I was wondering what it was about this thing that's making some people react so strongly (like us, lol) and others to simply take it in their stride. I highly doubt none of the people taking it into their stride are bookworms/novel-worms? 😕

Oh and don't say that! She was never Jaggubhai's Anandi, she was sent to Earth for Shiv and he for her, because they were Shiv-Parvati, and they were destined to be. She never had a tenth of what she had with Shiv with Jaggubhai, and never could. So even though they're gone, to me, they'll always be the perfect couple, and both completely each other's. :') Besides, I'll skim the episodes now, forget the new face, and just re-imagine it in my head with my Anandi. 😆

I understand that feeling too well, and from what I've read, we're not the only ones.
