Umadi,
Our reference points are differing! Your gentle peeps, always a pleasure.😳
The old 'captain', even from a detached plane now, first fumes at her ever susceptible friend's feared relapse or renege from the promises and duties. She scolds him the way she used to do in their childhood days over his many blunders. The wiser rookie patiently relates the motive. And quickly she sees the recovered ground, a genuine solidity. She empathises his cause- a relieving move and supports. He proceeds affirmed. In the aftermath, she stoutly defends his bonafides among his doubting family...it reminds those years when 'possessiveness' was not the motive of their world. Childhood days.😊
Stuti..,
I absolutely loved your above para...!..😳...with relation to the 'motive' behind same.
and this is after leaving aside the yet again., directorial as well as scriptual deficiencies...
1. Choosing an in appropriate time to relate his self grievance...
2. Not willing to get into any mature discussion with family and arrive at a compatible decision ...
3. Yet again., coming to a self made resolution that a relationship of so many years can be shut and sealed with a mere apology...just as he thought earlier too., that it can be revived with an apology...
