Being mostly an objective viewer (with some biased feelings fo AnSh LOL) who appreciates/loves all the characters in this show, the fact that AnSh wasn't there again didn't hurt me so terribly because of Anandi. While I am not in love with IVF track per se, perhaps it will be interesting to watch once they build on it bc BV is all about making social commentary on social issues that everyday people go through. That is why this show has remained consistent in its TRPs, it has not only entertained us with beautiful, mature writing of just the main lead's child marriage issues but it also educates us on societal issues, perspectives, and emotions through several other side characters. I love that side characters get performance-oriented roles, it's why someone like Gauri/Anjum is not easily replaceable. Unfortunately or fortunately (whichever POV you take), 24/7 AnSh romance is not justifiable considering the characters, show, and story. This is why I am sure all new entries/actors in the show are honored to be a part of this show because they know their roles, small or big, it will be of substance and it will make an impact.
Anyway I liked this episode because finally we got the resolution of the whole Sankranti celebration issue. It was wonderful because Anandi and Ira talked to each other with respect and maturity. They were both direct and while Ira was still unhappy but told Anandi to celebrate with the Singhs, Anandi did not just go along with it, knowing Ira was upset because she knew Ira had the right to have dreams about how her and her new bahu will celebrate their first Sankrant together. It was a really touching scene, beautifully written bc not only does this conversation happen, Anandi again shows her maturity and understanding to Sanchi by apologizing to her saying she is sorry that on her school holidays she has to spend it with the Singh family instead of her own. It was beautifully done and even while Sanchi may ignore this goodness later on, in that moment even she seemed a little bit touched by Anandi. And so I hope the ice continues to melt from Sanchi's direction towards Anandi. Also I can't forget CM who is just amazing in the way she appreciate's Anandi's goodness. Sometimes people take advantage of or take for granted other's goodness, but its nice that CM is someone who praises/gives credit where needed.
As for the precap, I am most excited about it! For obvious reasons! =) LOL. While again I know some are disappointed with no AnSh today, for me this was still a touching episode. And the VO was nice as well esp for the parents who forget that their kids have grown up and have a mature perspective in life that may ease their pain/struggles. LOL. Plus
Can I say the message at the end by AnSh about how BV is now on 6 days a week just makes me happy all over again! =) LOL
