Who is Anandi for me and how I think I can relate to her

A girl who speaks her mind and can articulate her words. Someone who understands the depth of relationships, who can read in between the emotions , who can go at length to make people around her comfortable, who can forgive the follies of others yet very harsh towards her own self.

For me, its important to see how someone who puts others' happiness before herself can get rewarded for this selflessness. Rewarded she surely has been. Shiv as a husband is any girl's dream. Personally, it gave me immense peace to see her being rewarded because I too had my own Mahabharata in my mind where I sought answers to questions like what is the incentive of being good? Why is it that the bad seem to be rewarded while the good suffer such hardship? Why someone's patience is regarded as her/his weakness?

I thought it was commendable on the part of CVs for sketching a character as hers. But of late things are disappointing. Is it Anandi who has disappointed me? No and a resounding no here. I fail to believe that someone who can see through other's pain can be so insensitive towards the very person whose sole objective remains to keep her happy at any cost! I am not talking about physical proximity here but overall I did not see CVs trying to show Anandi having same concern for Shiv or for that matter Ira that she shares for the Singhs or any Tom , Dick n Harry. It does not require a genius to figure out that going back to Jaitser after 3 days of wedding will surely hurt any MIL. It goes against the grain for such a sensitive or compassionate person. Some people may say she has always tried to please others and for once she wants to think of herself. This does not strike chord with me. The Anandi that I know derives her happiness from people around her. Here Anandi has not failed me. It's the CVs who have let me down.

The CVs are totally confused and have marred the very fantastic character they had created. They are either scared of the reactions of viewers and presume people may not take it easy to see Anandi moving on so quickly. The only thing I can say is trust your viewers and their intelligence. They will cheer it the most when they see their protagonist moving ahead gracefully without the guile of having moved on. For God sake, she has married this person. Marriage remains one of the purest instituition. The feelings of a wife for her man does not require sanctity from anyone.

I am more confused when they try to show Anandi & Jagdeesh's lives still getting intertwined. I agree that you can have a healthy relation with your ex BUT that's possible only when you have moved on in each aspect and harbour no feelings at all whatsoever-good or bad. I am sure Anandi is capable of doing that but why on earth do they need to show those FBs !

Lastly, what does it take to fall in love with a person who is such a gem? Again, I am not talking about physical attraction but the emotional bond you may feel for someone like Shiv is so natural. The 7-8 months of knowing Shiv should be enough to figure out if he is the one u had been longing for. Unless CVs can pull some masterstroke here to explain her realization, I am not going to be impressed. It just destroys the whole picture for me.

I know its a looong post but my very first POVs aired here:)

I understand it must have been discussed umpteen times but I feel we need to resonate it more so they get to hear our opinion. They should know how their viewers are taking this change in such a well sketched character

BV is a long running show. I think, it may be early to judge Anandi's equation with Shekars. With only one or two incidents, it is difficult to understand the underlying emotions. For example, initially I thought ChotiMa is a very regressive person. And she is narrow minded and obsessed about Shiv. But my view is completely changed now. CM looks very sweet and understanding.
I think, we have to wait for some more time to understand how Anandi adapts to her new in-laws.

I agree with you.. I was always in love with Anandi's character... but off late her attitude (I dont know if its a right word) towards Shiv is discomforting.. how hard I try to ignore but it disturbs... she was never shown thinking abt him...
I admit that she is not keen for physical proximity and thats absolutely ok with me but she hardly gives a thought about Shiv.. I find it strange that she hardly ever thinks that how understanding and caring Shiv is...I mean given to the background she comes from where men are used to dictate terms to women and never thinking abt their wives, Shiv is so different... If not anything else, he is so different from Jagya...They never show her thoughts wherein she compares Shiv's behaviour with Jagya's even when they were married...
One person might not be in love with the other, but his nature should make an impression in her mind specially when she hadn't met any man like him before... he is so different from all the other men she had seen earlier...

@saikata That is cv fault not to show anandi thinking abt shiv. They showed her perspective yesterday but about giving him love not out of duty but with pyar. They need to start showing anandi doing something nice to shiv not to his family. Enough of shiv doing things to make anandi happy.
He has been doing that from 6 months. Now anandi should start knowing what shiv likes the most and do that for him. Anandi knows shiv is different than any man she met and even jagya otherwise she would ave remarried jagya now. That why she is not hesitant to meet Singh family or jagya before shiv or his family as shiv gave her the freedom. In future if shiv stops her from visiting Singhs she will do it obediently. Shiv is a clever guy than anandi. Don't know why all the forum members feel bechara. He senses anandi so well that she cannot act in front of him. She will have no option to love him, which he will make sure she does. Whenever jagya and shiv were pitted against each other anandi always came closer to shiv. So do t worry abt who wins the kite competition.

@Sheetsden Yes its completely CVs fault to degrade A's character... And I know that she'll fall for him or I'll say he'll make her fall for him... but my concern is had they shown some thought process (1st time shown yesterday, would love more frequent ones) from her, the journey of her falling in love with him would look much more real and matured... she's no kid any more... if she can get FB of her ex... why can't she hv some thoughts on Shiv..
