A girl who speaks her mind and can articulate her words. Someone who understands the depth of relationships, who can read in between the emotions , who can go at length to make people around her comfortable, who can forgive the follies of others yet very harsh towards her own self.
For me, its important to see how someone who puts others' happiness before herself can get rewarded for this selflessness. Rewarded she surely has been. Shiv as a husband is any girl's dream. Personally, it gave me immense peace to see her being rewarded because I too had my own Mahabharata in my mind where I sought answers to questions like what is the incentive of being good? Why is it that the bad seem to be rewarded while the good suffer such hardship? Why someone's patience is regarded as her/his weakness?
I thought it was commendable on the part of CVs for sketching a character as hers. But of late things are disappointing. Is it Anandi who has disappointed me? No and a resounding no here. I fail to believe that someone who can see through other's pain can be so insensitive towards the very person whose sole objective remains to keep her happy at any cost! I am not talking about physical proximity here but overall I did not see CVs trying to show Anandi having same concern for Shiv or for that matter Ira that she shares for the Singhs or any Tom , Dick n Harry. It does not require a genius to figure out that going back to Jaitser after 3 days of wedding will surely hurt any MIL. It goes against the grain for such a sensitive or compassionate person. Some people may say she has always tried to please others and for once she wants to think of herself. This does not strike chord with me. The Anandi that I know derives her happiness from people around her. Here Anandi has not failed me. It's the CVs who have let me down.
The CVs are totally confused and have marred the very fantastic character they had created. They are either scared of the reactions of viewers and presume people may not take it easy to see Anandi moving on so quickly. The only thing I can say is trust your viewers and their intelligence. They will cheer it the most when they see their protagonist moving ahead gracefully without the guile of having moved on. For God sake, she has married this person. Marriage remains one of the purest instituition. The feelings of a wife for her man does not require sanctity from anyone.
I am more confused when they try to show Anandi & Jagdeesh's lives still getting intertwined. I agree that you can have a healthy relation with your ex BUT that's possible only when you have moved on in each aspect and harbour no feelings at all whatsoever-good or bad. I am sure Anandi is capable of doing that but why on earth do they need to show those FBs !
Lastly, what does it take to fall in love with a person who is such a gem? Again, I am not talking about physical attraction but the emotional bond you may feel for someone like Shiv is so natural. The 7-8 months of knowing Shiv should be enough to figure out if he is the one u had been longing for. Unless CVs can pull some masterstroke here to explain her realization, I am not going to be impressed. It just destroys the whole picture for me.
I know its a looong post but my very first POVs aired here:)
