Thanks Anita - nice update.

Was glad to see Jagya treasure the welcome he got - specially from DS and Bhairo. He realized the value of being accepted by their choice. It was such a warm n fuzzy feeling 😳. Hope J will live up to their expectations and the Singh family can get a move on into the future without a glance back.

On that note - maybe Anandi-Shiv will get invited only when Sugna-Shyam too are - ie on family occasions only. Wonder how come Sugna was not invited for her Pag-Phere rasam.

Also loved DS saying - come when u find some free time. - beautiful way to say - Go live your life - let us live ours.

And ofcourse mandir - Anandi said - thankyou for "MY FAMILY" here meaning only the Singhs. Shiv wished to keep the smile on Anandi's face intact.

In retrospect - a very wise wish by CollectorSa. If Madam is not weeping for her family - she can focus on her new surroundings and the people in it 😃

Shiv has a bit of Mahi in him. Loved that cute little smile of his when he trapped her. So cute !!😆

Anandi will have to be careful with this one - he is smart and very very tuned in. He will trip her anytime she's not paying attention. Adored Shiv today.

Now that A is married to Shiv, J will not be upto any tricks. Previously he couldn't control wanting A, knowing very well she was not interested b. by hook or crook he thought he will try for her. In that process he pissed of all of us. Now he is forced to move on with his life. For a starter he has to work hard in the hospital. It will be nice if he keeps visiting the Ashram for medical help. Shiv already made him witness the pug fero deliberately. That is a start. Now he will be facing a situation like in western countries. Divorced couples still care for each other but learn to live their lives even if they face each other every day.
Now that everything is hunky dori at the Haveli, cvs can treat us to some quality romantic time with Our golden couple.i really want to see A taking a big leap with Shiv.

Having said this, in my opinion, J's intention of wanting to redeem himself by doing something on his own merit without the comfort of his family was right but, the timing was wrong. I still feel that J should have been there for his family when A left since they were on an emotional low and his presence would have given them some solace. Once they come back to normalcy, he could have reasoned out his feelings to his family and then set out to make something out of himself. If no one else then at least Bhairav would have understood and stood by his decision. That way he would have done his duty by being there for his family when they need him the most and then without giving them a shock and reason to worry, he could have also set out on his redemption. This forcing him to come back would not have to be done then.

On the flip side, it take more courage for a person who is laden with guilt to face the people he has wronged on a daily basis than not face them. Knowing J this might also have been the reason for his escape.

I would have liked to see J making something out of himself on his own without the help of his family forget A-S. But looks like the Cvs have other plans. Anyway lets see how the story is going to progress from now on.

Anita (may I call you?)
Logically, making him doing his penance in Jaitsar only, is not holding much water- as against doing same out there in harsh places, severe environments and actual services to the needy. Even a casual observer would see this. Though I agree with your point, the timing was wrong. Also, to not make him- (for this was a writer's deliberate lapse)- communicate later on was wrong too. But when such uphill task, once intended and attempted, is branded an 'escape' (escape from what?), it's no longer just a punishment to a guilty. It spills into a revenge. Drag him back to the stage, make him go through the 'same' mortifications that A went through...fair, from a revisiting POV...but disagreeing to this (not your point); burn him wallowed in 'jealousy'. This later degradation, ( not even a revisit, for A did come out with flying 'hardness'), is what puts me off. Let us not pretend excuses of repentance 'inadequate', 'escaped' etc.
Anita, I read. You too are not against his repentance away. Your object is timing and I stand corrected on this reckoning. My vent is against possible (and only possible, not effected so far) scenarios. A wilful collision, liable to banal degenerations that I am voicing against. Speculations and conjectures only. and I hope, I will be proved soundly wrong about them.

thanks for the update..

Ira convinced and sent sanchi to take part in this rasam..while Shiv nor Anandi nor the singhs considered it. They simply went on with it without shiv's family. Anyways this isn't the first time the Shekars were neglected.

I did love the last bit of the update where Shiv made Anandi confess. That was sweet! Am glad collector saab has started using his smartness again. Anandi loves all his family members because she loves him in the first place. So I have an idea here for you Shiv.If Anandi finds it hard to express how much she loves you then probably you can find how much she loves your family and multiply that by 10 😛

They had come for the rasam first time n seeing that she was supposed to wish her old family happiness n good luck, I see how it wud have seemed meaningless if they did the rasam with a tear stained Anandi.

Doing it right away was Shiv's idea n a very wise one too. They took their leave n did it - and left the Singhs to enjoy their son. Else we wud hv had to endure yet another day planned for just this rasam n a strained Jagya face n a constipated Saanchi face.

Don't U think Shiv chose a nice time to do so ? And he also saved himself yet another day of dress up.
And he got his reward too - Dadisa said - Do come when u have time to spare. Meaning A doesn't hv to rush here again n again - meaning she can concentrate on HIM n his folks . YaY !!!

It was in fact - BRILLIANT TIMING. Am sure Chhoti Ma will understand perfectly. Those two came not only for the rasam but to also help settle them down in Circuit House. and start off their life here.

Now Shiv can play all sorts of tricks on A and not bother about her preoccupation with the Haveli anymore.
He has the best attitude - Live and let live. He will go out of his way to help out others if it also means that his life too will be smoother. That is generosity and coomn sense and care and loads of humanity too. Shiv is smart. He's good.

The best thing I liked about today's episode is that - maybe from now - the Singhs and specially DS and Sumi will not want Anandi to come home so very often coz they will not want to see Jagya get reminded and hurt.

Sumi has said she wants to put the past behind - so it seems that she will want to call Anandi Shiv only rarely and maybe on occasions with Sugna etc. Hope Anandi will not feel the urge to drop in there daily on her way to work and back to home and if she does - maybe DS can gently guide her to focus more on her married house and not so much here as they r trying to get along with Jagya and she is disrupting it.

Completely agree with your analysis...
@ Red... I really hope this comes true... I was thinking may be they are laying foundation for the saas-bahu drama...

That's so sweet of you Asru ! Thankyou 😊

I really do think that much as I may rail at the CV's for ruining this and messing with that - the way Shiv has been characterized - it is genius.

We have very beautifully etched out characters here

Jagya - spoilt, rich, headstrong, not used to a 'No', will not hesitate to lie, cheat, steal to get his way

Anandi - Loyal, Loving, caring, almost servile in her efforts and need to please. Too emotional. Can be forced to do anything if the person in front is sad. Very fair in theory in public but not so much in her personal llife.

Shiv - Fair-minded, Sorted out, precise, very shrewd in sizing up people, soft spoken but with a steely resolve to stick to what he believes in.

Amazing !
I adore how these three interact and how in each situation Shiv comes off as the better man. Would love to see some of his calm disposition and stability rub off on Anandi.

@hooked,
You are absolutely marvelous at analyzing the characters. You just spoke my mind. I did not know how to express it. Kudos to you.
