Well., we do not know if this is going to develop into a love story once again. But,if it does ,I will not complain. I,for one, will not brand Jagya as a casanova. Many men divorce their first wives for reasons they know best,go ahead and marry next time. Some do not divorce and still maintain two wives at two different places. We see such people in our society. That does not make them casanovas. But, that is another issue.
Basically what went worng with the character of Jagya was its treatment. His earlier redemption track was not handled deftly,so it failed to impress many of us(me included) and his attempts were open to ridicule. His fake amnesia, asking Anandi to nurse him back to health, tampering with Railway project, everything was half baked as was his dumping Gauri. We understand that and we have also spoken about it ruthlessly here.
Jagya is not be blamed for what he is today. It is his creators who have failed to deliver this character and his redemption convincingly. The whole thing could have been handled in a much better and thought provoking way. Infact, Jagya's redemption could have been done so well that we all would have gone ga ga over it. It did not happen and we were left clueless.
So again another attempt is being made to make his redemption track look more convincing. It is too early to say what will happen. yes,the CVs could have chosen some other method of showing this instead of making Ganga a child bride. Domestic violence is ok,as it is a harsh reality in our society and does not happen in rural India only, but, a part and parcel of the urban culture as well.
If Jagya wants to help Ganga then so be it. Who are we to complain? I am interested in how this track is handled . Is it going to be an interesting track or will it be left in the mid-way like the first redemption track? That is my concern.
