@Suchi, well spoken. My question which till date I have no answer to is why do the 'bashers' (let us so call these lovely people) bash so much? Okay so CVs portrayed Anandi as a sort of greater than life idealistic seva type person, who is still crying for her ex, but what is there to hate so much? Equally Shiv is being portrayed as an ideal good man, every mother would want to have as a son and every mother in law's dream jamai, may not be every wife's idea of a SR partner 😉, too much thanda thanda cool cool. But why bash him? And Ganga, too new and a bechari. Still not sure why there is so much hatred against A?

I think yeh issliye hota hai jab hum log in fictional characters mein apna invest karne lagte hai. As long as we are clear about the line between fiction and real, this bashing will also not happen

I learnt this the hard way and I realized that I am at peace when I have mentally forgiven myself as too much of anger in me was destroying my thought process and peace. So it is sometimes better not to hate and just accept as they are with all their weakness.

Anandi cannot hate anyone but can hurt his husband and in laws, Stop praising Anandi.

Please read my note on the first page, I specifically asked that this thread is not meant for bashing. So please take your bashing outside of my thread, otherwise will be forced to report your post. This is mainly meant for constructive analysis, so please refrain from posting in my thread if your intention is to bash. Just a humble request. Thank you

This is a fabulous post, Sups.

Much needed.

Must admit that BV has got us thinking of reel-life characters in a way that we often never do of real-life characters.

That said, the three personalities are absolutely different.

Who is better than whom is a moot point.

Anandi, who has been shown as a caring, loving person, is a bit more unreal than most of us. So, several of us find it difficult o relate to her. That said again, there are such good people in this world, and we can only aspire to be one of them.

Gauri, not all bad and not all good. A victim of childhood circumstances and then J's lies. A person many of us can relate to (at least until she went all bad).

Ganga, again a victim, angry at what life has meted out and willing to fight back. However, with just a few epis being aired, I reserve my opinion on her character.

All I want to say is, with BV being just a serial, we all should appreciate how the CVs are trying to portray how different personalities handle similar situations.

The world is a beautiful place, full of diversities and similarities. We should appreciate that. And if we don't like what we see, we should either switch off the TV or change the channel.

Ginu you are too good, simply loved this point of yours. Precisely and we should respect that and it is the extremely great point. And precisely what I wanted to convey🤗

@reshmiroy... You have some vision defect ? Cant you see the note that supriya di has post in the starting of her post ? No bashing ! Or you are hell bent on ruining everyone's healthy discussion + mood by your not so intellectual, one line rude comments ? Vent up your frustration in FT or Get a life 😳

@supriya di... First of all i love you for such a wonderfull post 🤗
You have analysed the charactes very well. Three victims of baal vivah but three different stories. One chose to face the situation, hardships, sufferings but by God's grace was pulled out. Other one made herself a living mockery and is a perfect example of "apne pairon pe kulhaadi marna'' and the last one is a lot similar to A but has not got anyone's support 'till now' ( J is on his way ) and is in process of getting free. A happy future awaits her. Each one is diffrent, with individual characteristics. Where A is portrayed as an ideal girl, caring and sacrificing, Gauri is shown as an ambitious, career oriented and mean girl and Ganga represents most common women, supressed and tortured but you can see a spark of rebel in their eyes. The other thing common ( apart from Baal vivah ) is that MAN ( MCPs ) is responsible for their such condition Everyone is special in own way and WE as people who have no idea through which pain they have gone have NO right to bash anyone ! We can criticise them/ their actions but bashing is a flat big NO !

But if people are not getting the point and still trying to spread negativity...well...there is no cure for...you know what.

I hope people stop bashing characters and if they are so frustrated better switch to some other show. A bunch of people wont cause downfall in trps so they dont matters much.

Once again a lovely post di. 👏

Thank you Sups! This is how I look at life... so can't take full credit for that thought. Perhaps I was taught that by parents, hubby, friends, and life itself. 🤗

Thanks Piyu for supporting my claim. And thanks for adding in one more point and that was "The other thing common ( apart from Baal vivah ) is that MAN ( MCPs ) is responsible for their such condition" . Agree with you 100 percent there, many times the condition women are in, the men(MCPs) aided by the society wherein their mothers are also part of it, drive them. Isnt it funny that we being women, cant understand the plight of other women and end up bashing. It is so easy to say that woman should have walked out of the marriage, but is that so simple. We just from the outside fail to see the dynamics and the forces that are binding the woman to the tortorous marriage. Which Cvs showed it beautifully through Ganga. Ganga is not able to walk out, because of her child and she is taking in the physical abuse only because of the child

Agree fully.
Thats why it is said, ''Aurat hi aurat ki dushman hoti hai''. Earlier i never believed it but now i see examples in IF daily
Its actualy funny. I can say that a girl like A ( even with 50% goodness of her ) can take a stand for everyone but not for herself and a girl unlike her can take stand for herself not for others. Who is worst ? Is living means only for yourself ? We as women are the strongest and the weakest too. If i see my friend suffering i'll tell her to chuck the man asap but if same happens with me i will be hurt and wont be able to take a firm step in the starting. Im strong for my friend but when it comes to myself i am weak. Its with everyone. So its easy to lecture others and hard to apply the same lecture on yourself.

So before advising others ( bashing and blaming behind ) first we should walk in their shoes and FEEL their plight.

Precisely Piyu as my mother always says, that we need to put ourselves in their shoes to be able to really empathize with them.
And I know that even though I am a rebel, many times we bow down to our parents and others, for the sake of the harmony and peace and tried to get my way around by putting it across subtly. Which is what Anandi did, wherein she slowly and gradually tried to change the mindsetsClapClap
