Anandi was looking at Shiv ,with a shovel in her hand trying to dig up the mud, wondering why now he is unable to read her mind. He always did understand her without her having to tell him. She stopped digging for a second and thought was he trying to fake that he didn't understood her hints?
'Hawww.. mujhe lagta hai yahi wajah hai.. Jaan bhooj ke mujhe sata rahe hai..' After a second, she admonished herself saying 'har baat unse hi mein kyun umeed kar rahi hoon ? Mujhe bhi toh pehel karni chahiye. Kaash mein apni dil ki baat bata pati...' She is back to square one of pouting and staring at him and feeling bad that he is not done with his work yet.💔
Shiv at the same time is peeking through his spectales, noticing his wife is again lost in some thoughts. He was about to get up to tease her and he hears an 'OUCH'. He immediately gets up running to his wife,who is on the ground clutching her foot. Shiv bends down to her foot to check what had happened asking 'aaj kal aap ka dhyaan kaha par rehta hai ?Kaha khoi rehti hai aap ?' Anandi dreamily replies 'aap ki khayaloon mein..' Shiv looks at her disbelievingly, but she covers up saying 'mera matlab hai....' and starts Ouching her foot again😆 He asks her to slowly getup so that he can help her walk her back to the house.
Hearing this, Anandi asks him 'Pichle baar ki tarah baho mein nahi utayenge aap ?' quirking her left eyebrow😉 . Shiv could not believe his ears and his eyes literally popps out hearing her words😲.. He thought was Anandi flirting with him ?
Hearing what she said, Shiv bends to pick her up but before he could lift her completely, Anandi suddenly jerks pushing him back and takes the hose that was nearby and starts spraying water on him. This sudden prank from Anandi took Shiv aback. She moved few feet away from him giggling but still holding the hose and spraying the water at him completely soaking him. Shiv realized what his wife was upto. He slowly gets up, shaking the water off his hair and then running his hands through them, smirking he mutters 'Anandi ab nahi chodunga tumhe..'
He starts walking towards her still getting sprayed. Anandi starts moving away from him realizing that her prank is caught by him but still continues giggling. Anandi now seeing him getting close, drops the hose and starts to run around the lawn. Shiv chases her and is able to catch up with her. He stops her by pulling her at her waist. With the speed that everything happens, they fall on the lawn with Shiv on the ground and Anandi towards his side but above him. Anandi rests her head on his chest, both gasping and trying to catch their breath after running around like small kids. It takes her a minute to realize what she has done. She moves her face away from his chest, looks at him wanting to lose herself in his eyes. Having fallen on him, she is partly wet. Shiv is a bit surprised at the turn of events.
He does have a feeling that she wants to come close to him but wants her to say and thinks'What are you trying to say Anandi ? Hope this is some kind of a hint.. But, mein inteezar karunga jab tak aap apni muh se kuch na kahe.I can't hurt you again...' Anandi in her mind 'Soch kya rahe ho Anandi. Shiv pehel nahi karenge… vada jo kiya.. Ab nahi toh kabhi nahi karpaaogi...'
She slowly bends towards him and plants a soft kiss on his lips, just brushing hers on his, but enough for both of them to feel the heat of the moment. It was like the whole world had come to a halt for both of them. Both their hearts skip several beats. She slowly raises up, looks at him, bites the corner of her lip having realised what she has done and turning red out of embarrassment 😳 and not able to meet his eyes slowly gets up wanting to run away feeling shy. As she turns around to move, he holds her hand. Anandi's heart starts to beat so loudly that she could almost hear it herself ! Shiv up on his feet, pulls her closer towards himself and lifts her in his arms and walks home, both completely lost in each other's eyes all the while. ☺️
