I have a say

After going through various posts and comments made there of, I started thinking about the behavior of Anandi post marriage. To be honest, to me, she looks like a bird caught in a snare. Why? I do not know.

I,for one, do not take the explanation as offered by the voiceover yesterday and reject it forth with.

Had she been hesitant, I would have understood. Not that she remembers Jagya but,of herself and Shiv and how to move forward from this phase. Any girl, whether married before or not always has certain amount of apprehension coupled with excitement at the prospect of SR. That is understandable. Apprehension makes you hesitant and the prospect of excitement propels you forward. I hope, I have made my point clear. But ,in Anandi's case, this apprehension is coupled with fear. Fear of what? Fear of the unknown? That is not true. She has the experience before,I think so, but, am not very sure. Or was her past experience with Jagya(if there was one) not a pleasant one? And she does not want to go through with the same experience again?

Or is it fear of Shiv? For what? Is Shiv a junglee? Is Shiv forcing himself on her? Is Shiv demanding, threatening her for his rights? No. He has only shared his innermost desires with her with all honestly and candidness. Most husbands would not have done that and gone ahead with their own plans. Then where from comes the fear factor?

Has the actress not been able to emote properly and given us the impression that she is terrified of this where as she should have only given us the signals that she has doubts about the act? The way she ran and hid herself in the library made me think that she has still remained a child bride and has not grown up at all, mentally and emotionally. And honestly,how long can you hide? And where? This tom and jerry game will be out in the open before all the family members very soon, then what? It will be an embarrassment for all and most of all for Shiv. He was the man who insisted for this marriage,he chose his bride and where will he hide? Pretty soon, he will be the one looking for a perfect hiding place in KB.

I have felt,in the affair between Shiv and Anandi,it was always Shiv who has compromised. Whether it was engagement ceremony ,Jagya's fake illness and the nursing part(ufff…the worst ever phase of BV) or the SR. Anandi, who has placed other people's happiness ahead of hers, strangely found to place her happiness and desire ahead of Shiv.

I would have appreciated if she would have gone into the room with a positive frame of mind despite her apprehension and would have discovered with surprise and delight that there are men and men in the world and there is happiness out there if you can stretch your arm to embrace it.

I do not buy the fact that SR happens slowly in all tele drama. We never equated BV with other tele drama before,we always thought it to be different. Why change the stance now?

N.B. I have speculated certain things here, especially between Anandi and Jagya and I am not very sure if "it " did take place. So I stand corrected. It is a delicate issue, and I have tried best to maintain decency, still if any one finds it offensive, my apologies.

SR did happen between Jagya - Anandi and not forced or unhappy ones as you can see from her expressions in the flashback scenes. After that in their Honey moon too, it happened. They were happy couple at that time. This was before he went to mumbai for studies. Uske baad hi jagya changed so much.

I think the actress is giving wrong expressions in this shiv track. She looks more scared than anxious or worried. In the FB scenes with jagya, she is nervos / anxuious because that was 1st time, but there was no fear / scared expression. I don't understand why CVs are doing this. Its director's responsibility to make the actors give right expressions. or Maybe the CVs themselves are showing anandi scared of this😕. Its confusing. Maybe they want to drag it forever like other serials.

Very nice post and I agree It has always been Shiv who has adjusted with her.

The 'scared' look I think is what is irritating most people. That and Shiv being 'USED' by her. she - the champion of the under trodden - is being most unfair towards Shiv AFTER he has proved time and time again that he wants nothing but her comfort and her happiness.

I can understand that she is not mentally prepared, but why avoid him for that? She knows how to give long sermons. Cant she say a few words to shiv?

Her drama is only in order to get sympathy from singhs and from some viewers.

Yes she should share her fears and apprehensions with Shiv.
