I,for one, do not take the explanation as offered by the voiceover yesterday and reject it forth with.

Had she been hesitant, I would have understood. Not that she remembers Jagya but,of herself and Shiv and how to move forward from this phase. Any girl, whether married before or not always has certain amount of apprehension coupled with excitement at the prospect of SR. That is understandable. Apprehension makes you hesitant and the prospect of excitement propels you forward. I hope, I have made my point clear. But ,in Anandi's case, this apprehension is coupled with fear. Fear of what? Fear of the unknown? That is not true. She has the experience before,I think so, but, am not very sure. Or was her past experience with Jagya(if there was one) not a pleasant one? And she does not want to go through with the same experience again?

I don't know the reason behind Anandi's fear. She looks terrified. Why is she looking at Shiv with so much fear in her eyes? The reasons I could think of ,
1. May be she feels that she does not deserve Shiv. She loves him a lot and worried that Shiv will leave her, like J.
2. Jagya would have told her some really bad stuff about her looks or body(I think nothing of that sort was shown till now.So it is just my imagination...). So she thinks J left her because of her problems. She is hell scared to open up with Shiv. She has some inferiority complex.
3. She doesnot love Shiv(or not realized it). She can not pretend to love him. She does not want to hurt himby letting him know that love has not happened yet..and she needs time.
4. May be this tension is a new thing, which she had not forseen. She needs time to figure out whats her problem.

It is silly on her part to assume that Shiv will leave her like J. The problem, she has never discussed anything about their MARRIED life to Shiv. She has no dreams, no desires and interest in this marriage. She is absolutely taking no efforts even, how will she trust Shiv? And until they don't discuss, how will she know that what difference Shiv can make in her life?

J left her, but that can't be the sole reasons for her fears. People move on and she too has to. The problem is she is not taking efforts. She just likes to remain in her sorrows and fears.

Her own friend Phooli has managed to move on, despite being badly abused and used, then Anandi had all the comforts in life. What's so hard to speak up?

I don't think her past can justify any of her current actions. It's good that Shiv is good. I would like him to start ignoring her, till she realises that she is also a partner in the marriage, not a receiver. She needs to give and reciprocate.

You know the reason we are all mad is because CVs has shown this before.😔
In Anandi/Jagya's marriage: Anandi gave her ALL (100%) of herself into her marriage and toward the end Jagya did not even put forth 1% of himself. Every time he felt pushed or pressured he took his frustrations out on Anandi. She kept trying, hoping, understanding, and praying as well. Jagya did not understand and/or care.
Now in Anandi/Shiv's marriage: Shiv is giving his ALL (100%) of himself and Anandi is not even trying. Now Anandi is getting pressured, in a different sort, and she is running.😒 He is understanding, hoping, and trying. The only thing left, for him, is praying. Wait correct that, he has started to pray as well (the best friend scene)
I want the CVs to show something different this time around. If they want to hold off on the SR then fine. Show us something else. Maybe they joke around, as friends. Hanging out with his friends from Udaipur or making new friends. Fight some social issues, heck there are a lot of social issues in India, PICK ONE (solving ONE issue usually takes a month or two). With the new story line build AnSh's love story. And then have the SR.
What do you guys think? Let me know

anandi hesitation may be justified..

i hated d fact that she could act sleeping infront of shiv but cannot lie to not go on picnic..how selfish..

shiv is giving it his everything
anandi is not reciprocating or even receiving ..she is avoiding him..😡😡😡

i really liked anandi singh...but anandi shivraj shekhar is a really weird ,annoying ,timid n selfish person..
i find her more annoying than sanchi these days

Off course SR took place between A and J .Was there any doubt about it ??😲
And one has to see the previous episodes (rather than assume as the TM said) to see Anandi's expressions at that time . She was sooo into him , maybe more than what a wife feels for her husband in real life. He was her friend / husband/ lover , the only man she knew ..for her.
Thats why she's so damn scared this time . To feel the same abt another man and be rejected in future. She cannot take it a second time.
Also not right to compare Anandi with any divorced woman , how many of them were married at 8???

I agree with rush92. I think Shiv has already understood that and going ahead with the canal project. He was asking for the file. I think that was a brilliant move. By Shiv.

And where? This tom and jerry game will be out in the open before all the family members very soon, then what? It will be an embarrassment for all and most of all for Shiv. He was the man who insisted for this marriage,he chose his bride and where will he hide? Pretty soon, he will be the one looking for a perfect hiding place in KB.

I have felt,in the affair between Shiv and Anandi,it was always Shiv who has compromised. Whether it was engagement ceremony ,Jagya's fake illness and the nursing part(ufff'the worst ever phase of BV) or the SR. Anandi, who has placed other people's happiness ahead of hers, strangely found to place her happiness and desire ahead of Shiv.

@mocking_bird:

Beautiful post, very balanced and sensible one.

@red

I had expressed doubts earlier in one of my responses that perhaps the actress is not emoting properly, and CVs need to work with her expressions. Where she needed to show hesitation, all she was showing is fear, and sometimes disgust. But I was perplexed by Friday's episode. Why would the wife of Shivraj Shekhar be so gripped by fear that she would drop the glass of juice? It does seem to me that she is extremely scared and apprehensive and is not in a normal frame of mind. Prats did not do this on her own, the direction certainly came from the CVs.

This is so inconsistent with her behavior when she confronted Shiv after he broke his promise to marry her for the sake of Jagiya's happiness. She was never shown to be a scaredy cat. Yes, she may have hesitation, so SR can definitely wait, but why can't she open up to her husband?

@blue

Absolutely. I have always found her cold-hearted towards Shiv. As I mentioned before, if Shiv was my brother I would feel really sorry for him. I would not have behaved like Saanchi publicly, but deep inside I would feel deeply hurt by her behavior.

@Poiu123, usually I do not watch the intimate scenes,mainly because I feel slightly embarrassed though I advocate for them vociferously .So I have not watched whatever Anandi and Jagya did and that is why I said what I said.
My point is, once you are married you know pretty well what you are getting into, If she equated this marriage with the previous one and felt that Shiv too will leave her like Jagya,(these are our assumption) I find it damned curious. The simple reason is why get married then?? We can conclude that she married to keep her promise to her dead mother. But,that is not true of Shiv. He married her expecting to lead a normal married life. She is intelligent enough to understand that.
Agreed that no one marries at 8, but, being grown up you tend to behave in a different way. That is why,they advocate that there should not be any child marriage.
If you are an adult,behave like an adult. For how long can you take refuge behind,I was wronged,so I do not want to go through it again??
