Thank you for the update :)

I was just thinking that one of the best things about the May-June episodes was the beautiful structure, both of AnSh's relationship and the episodes themselves. With the relationship, there was Shiv's superb introduction, then nok jhok as he thought Anandi was just a young sarpanch from an influential family, then some light drama showcasing actual rural problems intertwined with him finding out her husband left her, leading to a change in how he see her, then a little later he finds out she's staying with her in laws which means she wasn't at fault, then more intertwining where she proves how awesome she is, Ashi's comment makes him realize she's exactly the kind of girl he's looking for, and then the super drama with the child marriage and him finding out the last thing - that she was a child bride, and that she fought through so much. At which point he was head over heels.

They need to do something similar from Anandi's side now - clearly, Shiv doesn't have a tragic past, but it's time to match that original beauty of the structure with her finding more about him. I'm sure she's already in love with him at least a little, but she needs to fall completely too as well as realize it, preferably in one of BV's classic montages. It'll be a lot better to interwine that with what they have planned, rather than showing only the Sanchi drama I can sense they have stewing, as well as the backlash from allowing the widowed girls to have mehendi which is surely coming.

Also the format in those golden episodes was so lovely, everything was mostly positive, whatever drama there was was resolved by the end of the episode and the precap gave a hint of whatever drama was coming in the next one. And AnSh moments abounded - they didn't have to be big and grand, because Sid and Pratyusha are so good at making the little moments sparkle. That worked so much better at bringing viewers back rather than the heavy, disgusting, rona dhona around Jagdish. CV's ran out of some inspiration at just the wrong time - Anjum taking a break/leaving the show - hence the Jagdish nonsense because they thought they were done with that structure, but they don't have to be. They should try for that magic from May-June again, and at no cost let AnSh suffer for the sake of contrived drama.

Sorry for the super long post - I've spent last weekend rekindling my AnSh obsession :P

Thanks for the update Khusi.
It was another nice episode. I liked the way DS understood and supported A in her decision for inviting widows & divorcees. Although she feels the villagers will not approve, her changed attitude and broad thinking was very appealing.
Loved Sumi - Bhairon convo. This couple is in ever-green couple, with a perfect balance of romance, understanding & emotions for each other.
Sumitra very well said, that it's time to bring J back home. The changed J needs family's care, support and guidance. It is also a right decision for them to give him a fresh start, after all A has already moved on. As parents they have done wonderful justice to all their 3 children.
Pre-cap was so emotional. Ds really loves A, and is indeed sad to lose her. Can't believe she was once a dominating DS, who left no stone unturned to torture Anandi.
It's very emotional to see A leaving Singhs. Although I am so happy for her new life, this particular moment of A leaving haveli is sad.

Thanks for the update.

Sanchi's "modernity" is becoming a bigger joke by the day. Her own CM is a widow and she speaks so disrespectfully about them. Shame on this city bred, "forward looking" girl.

very much agree with you here..it was Shiv's introduction and the period afterwards that got me hooked to the serial..I was a regular viewer till the leap but lost interest after leap and it was only after Shiv's entry and how makers showed Ansh bonding with the positivity that made the serial so interesting..Jagya's revenge plot and his amnesia was the worst track Cvs showed after Shiv's entry which almost made me decide to quit the show..because BV is about positivity and a good message..it is a rare serial which has tried to bring about a change..and so there are many things they can still show without letting Ansh suffer..Sanchi drama does not make sense..they could have shown immaturity in Sanchi but Sanchi's idiotic nature and ignorance of everything just make her very unrealistic..also Shekhar's silently listening to her nonsense always does not make sense to me too..they are educated good human beings and they listen to all the non-sense their daughter say and do not even try to make her understand..just telling her off wont do!..

@Bul3 - I agree, so much of it has to do with simple realism. What kind of family can raise both people like Shiv and Mahi, as well as a total brat like Sanchi? Is it because she's the only girl? Is it that they are trying to give a representation of what they think some stuck up young city girls are like? If so, they need to do more research into what people like that and their families are like, because right now it all feels very off. I'd say it's lazy writing, but I don't know - I'm just waiting to see how things unfold and if they're going to keep AnSh how they are, make them even better or ruin them. I'm too afraid of the last possibility to fully enjoy what's happening, and any mention of Jagdish at all makes me cringe. 🤔

Thanks for the update Khusi,

It was a nice episode which covered all the tiny intricacies of the marriage preps as well as emotions. Glad to see Khazan also involved in these preparations.

Like Alok said, thinking of others happiness in this big day of your own is truly something remarkable. This is so true to A's character who has always seen her happiness in the happiness of others. She did not leave a chance to make her marriage celebrations as a way to extend her happiness to the ones deprived of it.

Loved the Bhairav and Sumitra conversation. Now with A not present in the house, it will be the right thing to bring a repenting J back. Now that he has realized his mistake in the true sense his family's love and guidance will show him the path of leading a meaningful life.

I wonder how the Cvs are going to keep the Singhs and Shekhars together in the story line. BV will not be the same without the Singhs playing a vital role in the story line and A's interactions with them.

Anita, I think there will be a parralel track for A's new life and J's new life. They might bring G back.
