Thanks Khusi for the update.
There are two things that I could perceive in today's episode.
1. I could not understand what exactly is Saanchi's problem. She did not want Anandi as her sis-in-law is understood. She has her own reasons which we may or may not subscribe to. The most obvious reason as I could see is she considers herself ultra modern and those who do not fall into that category(at least in looks) are a clear no no.
If that is the case, then what is her objection to all less fortunate ladies putting on mehendi? I thought this was quite a modern idea and she should have no objection. And that too she told this in front of CM who happens to be a widow. I really cannot understand what bothers her.
2. The conversation between Sumitra and Bhairon set me thinking.Despite being in a village for years and not exposed to very high education, the Singhs have shown tremendous amount of chivalry and openness. I have rarely seen any family,no matter where they are and what education they have, would go to such an extent to see their daughter-in-law get settled once again and not only that ,but, also see to it that it is their responsibility to fructify this.
There is a great difference between your thoughts and your actions. Saanchi and the Singhs are this difference. And to top it all, education really does not matter.
What matters is how enlightened you are.
