Saachi and Ashima - big difference

When Ashima came to Jetser, she loved every moment of it. Although she lived in London, born and brought up and educated in London, she liked everything about Anandi and Jetser.

On the other hand, we have Saachi, born and brought up in INDIA. We see her coming to Jetser and she is hating everything about it. She even does not like Anandi though she never met her...she is expressing disgust at the way Anandi is cleaning up a boy who got KICHAD on his face...Saachi even does not like the smell of Jetser!!!!!!!!

Do you all see the difference between Saachi and Ashima?? Both are well educated, both live in the city and I can safely say Ashima lives in a better place than Saachi...but look at their attitude and personality...Ashima was a gem and Saachi is so immature...

Saachi should learn from Ashima!!!!

the thing is the people who live abroad know and think about those who are poor. They understand their plight and have a soft corner for them. Thats most of the people.

Both are educated and are brought up in a modern urban surroundings.

When Ashima came to Jaitsar she preferred to see the beauty in the things that experienced in Jaitsar.She couldn't relate to them nor could she connect with the life in Jaitser but she preferred to carry the beautiful experiences with her.

Sanchi also finds it unable to relate to connect with the life in rural India. But she closes her eyes to the beauty of it and prefers to see the unpleasant side of it.

Ashima was impressed with A even before she met her.

Sanchi decided that A was not fit to be part of her family even before she met her.

I suppose it is not the surroundings of your upbringing that matter but it is the way that you look at life and people around you that matters.

actually sanchi has come to jaitsar only with negative thoughts...its in her mind that the village, its people, the girl chosen by shiv will be bad...hence she cannot see beauty in everything...

to see beauty in others, you have to be beautiful from inside...a person like sanchi with only anger and negative thoughts cannot see anything good around her..

May be the negative feeling is because she knows that this village and the girl are going to be part of her family and life.

wheras Ashima was just a tourist vising her friend and a new place.

If Sanchi was on a college trip to Jaitser, she would have clicked photos too. call it hypocracy.. but most city people have it.
