In both the shaadi waale ghar sangeet ke preparations ki dhoom thi. The decorations in the haveli were in full swing. Shiv and Anandi wanted a simple wedding so everyone had obliged. Dsa used to have the decorations of the haveli alter every day though using the same materials. In the C H too the decorations were altered daily. More guests were coming in for the wedding in both houses. Mahi had tried his charm with everyone in his family for a combine sangeet ceremony. He knew that if he convinced his elders they could convince his Anandi bhabhi's Dsa. Ira and C M were strictly against Anandi and Shiv meeting as it was a tradition. They did not want to disrespect the ideals of Dsa and her family.

Alok and Daddu told him to come up with his own strategy and they will assist him. He heard his Daddu and bade papa reveal how they had put chunri's and gone to see the sangeet during their respective weddings. "Shiv bahiyya ko chunri pehenkar jaane ko kaha toh wo usi chunri se mera ghala ghot denge." Mahi gulped. "Haan bhai tera bhai hai hi niraala uske liye koi nirala tareeka hi sochna padega." Daddu guided him. Alok and Daddu also add how Aroop Mahi's papa had gone to meet Meenu. "Arre wo to humse bhi do kadam aage nikla tha. Hum toh bhai chupte chupate darte gaye the par wo saccha fauji tha. Seena taan kar gaya tha Meenu ke ghar. Wahan kajar kaha main toh saasuma se milne aaya hoon Meenu ko toh kal se umar bhar dekhna hi hai." Mahi was very young when he had lost his father but there was never a moment when Daddu and Alok did not tell him about his brave father. "Daddu bhaiyya toh papa ke jaise bhi nahi kar sakte. Bhaiyya kal bahana banake gaye the bhabhi se milne par unki Dsa toh bahut tez hain. Collector ke saamne inspector ki tarah khadi thi. Shiv bhaiyya seedhe seehde nahi ja sakte." Mahi explained.

In both the houses the women were singing traditional songs while playing the dholak. The ghumar was done and some more folk dances were danced. Ashi and Saachi were dressed in beautiful salwaar suits. Mahi had to try very hard to concentrate at the task on hand when Ashi was around him. Ashi was very happy to see her effect on him. They were going to meet Anandi as they did not know head or tail about the traditional songs. They would stay with her the whole day and return for the sangeet at home in the evening. Shiv picked up his bag and was leaving for the office. "Shiv kahan ja raha hai? Aaj tera sangeet hai. Aaj bhi office ja raha hai? Yeh ladka bhi na kabhi nahi sudhrega. Ab toh Anandi aakar hi ise ghar se bandhegi." C M said. Shiv blushed and in his mind said "Main apne kaam se hi ja raha hoon. COLLECTOR Shiv Raj Shekhar nahi par Shiv office ja raha hai. Anandi ka Shiv."

He so very politely and innocently offered Ashi and Saachi to drop them to the haveli. He was also coming in the house. Ashi and Saachi stopped him. "Bhaiyya aap yahan nahi aa sakte. Aapko pata hai na aap bhabhi se nahi mil sakte." "Arre agar main yahan tak aakar Dadiji ka ashirwad liye bina hi chala jaaoonga toh kitna bura lagega? Meri dadi mat ban main Dadiji se hi milne ja raha hoon." He came in and touched Dsa's feet. His eyes were constantly wandering from here to there. "Shiv beta daftar ja raha hai. Accho hai waise bhi ghar baithke tu ke karego." Dsa saw him searching for Anandi.

She smiled. "Bas do aur din sabar kar le beta. Phir toh hum sab ko chodkar thare paas hi aane waali hai na." She made Shiv understand. This time she did not tease him or interrogate him because she knew he was no match for her. He wiped a tear near her eyes and said," Dsa wo humehsa aapki poti rahengi, jab chahe tab aapse milne aayengi aur main bhi toh aapka beta hi hoon na? Unse zyaada to main aaoonga aap mujhse itna pyaar jo karti hain." Dsa blesses him and leaves to give more instructions to others. He is about to leave when he hears the chan chan of Anandi's payal. She had seen his jeep from the room and had come running down to catch a glimpse of him. She hid behind a pillar and saw him desparately search for her. She had her fun but then showed him her face. He felt as if he were seeing 'Pooranmaashi ka Chaand' (Full Moon) in broad daylight.

She looks around for Dsa and then comes down to meet him. He moves away from there and goes towards the main door. Anandi carefully follows him there so as not to get caught by her elders. She is searching for him but he is nowhere in sight. She is disappointed that he is following the rules much better than her. Following rules and regulations had always been her territory and now she had met C S jo usse bhi zyaada usoolon ke pakke the. As she is about to turn to go back inside the house a hand grabs her wrist and let out a gasp. Then she realized that it was the familiar touch of her C S. He was behind the curtain. He asked her to show him her hands. The deep color of her mehndi reminded him how deep his love for her was getting day by day. She too saw his mehndi and was amazed at how deep his mehndi color was. She knew that the deep color of the mehndi symbolises the love a spouse has for the other. This was the first time in her life the color of mehndi was so dark. It showed her too how much Shiv loved her.

They could see each other's smile through the thin curtain. They stood there and enjoyed the moment. Ashi and Saachi came there looking for her. Shiv immediately let her hand go and escaped a brush with the blackmailing bimboes. Anandi pretends to adjust the pleats of the curtain and smiles at them. Anandi then runs like she is a gold medal Olympian and goes to the terrace to see Shiv and bid him bye. They exchange byes and shy smiles which now reached their eyes.

Anandi comes to her room where Ashi and Saachi are waiting for her. Ashi asked Anandi,"Hey Anandi apni mehndi ka color to dikhao. Wow itna deep color hai. You know what this means na? Shiv tumse bahut pyaar karta hai." Anandi saw the color of her mehndi which seemed to turn darker after Shiv held her hands. He had drawn her hands to smell the mehndi almost to his nose and his lips. She had felt his warm breath on her hands. Heat darkens the color of the mehndi.

"Bhabhi maine bhai ke haath ki mehndi ka color bhi dekha bahut dark tha. Aap bhi bhai se bahut pyaar karti hai na?" "Yes definitely Anandi bhi Shiv se bahut pyaar karti hai and you know sp. effects ki wajah se bhi toh color dark aaya hai Shiv ki mehndi ka." Ashi while saying this pointed at the place where Anandi had got Sp. mehndi. Anandi blushed but she does not go down easily. She turned the tables on Ashi by asking Saachi about the color of Mahi's mehndi.

The loud speaker began again, "Haan bhabhi ghar mein sab yeh dekhakar hairaan the ki Mahi bhaiyya ke haathon mein bhi mehndi kitni gehri rachi hai. Bhabhi gehra rang to yehi kehta hai na ki koi aapse bahut pyaar karta hai? Haan to someone somewhere Mahi bhaiyya se bahut ppyaar karti hogi na?" "Haan Saachi KAHIN KOI bahut pyaar karti hogi mere devarjee se. Kyun Ashi tumhe kya lagta hai?" Anandi teased Ashi. The three girls were joined by Sugna, Asha and Gulli and their fun increased to another level. The chedd chhaad continued. Most of the chedd chadd was a bouncer for Saachi and Gulli. They decided what to wear for the sangeet. Jewelry, makeup accessories all were discussed in full details. Anandi had never given much thought to such things. She always wore comfortable and decent clothes. She was changing now. "Mujhe sajna sawarna kabse accha lagne laga? Wo bhi C S ke liye? Apne best friend ke liye main sajna chahti hoon Kyun? Dsa ki mehndi waakai bahut acchi bani hai tabhi toh unke haaton par bhi itni gehri mehndi rachi. Kyunki wo toh mere sirf Best Friend hi hain." An Ignorant Anandi unaware of her true feelings for her C S thought and naturally a cute smile appeared on her face.

Shiv returned home in a haapy mood. He was whistling. He took Mahi aside and asked his genius brother,"Kya hua tu mujhe aur Anandiji ko milwaane waala tha na?" "Haan bhai milwaane wala toh tha par aap hi office chale gaye main bechara kya karta? Waise plan toh banaya thaa maine." Mahi faintly justified. "Shiv tu aa gaya office se itni jaldi?" Ira asked him. "Haan ma wo important kaam tha jaldi ho gaya toh aa gaya aap sab ki help karne." Shiv replied in a happy mood. "Toh bhaiyya important kaam ho gaya? Wow kitne jaldi kaam ho bhi gaya? My Big B is very efficient and intelligent. Waise aise hi koi Collector nahi banta Dimaag toh tez hota hi hai. Toh kaisa raha kaam? Aapko jo file dekhni thi wo dekh li aapne? Theek se dekhi ya sirf upar upar se? Meeting successful thi? Result positive tha right." Mahi asked in front of all but in a code. Shiv's shy smile gave him a satisfactory answer.
