As the time passes by Mahi is desperate to make his plan work. A joint sangeet was his mission. The C H was not big enough for it but the haveli certainly was. He tried every trick in his book but he failed. Shiv saw him frown, stomp his feet, pout in his room. He remembered this is how Mahi used to get as a kid when he did not get his favorite ice cream or India lost a match. He pitied his brother. He decided to give Mahi an idea.

"Mahi sun tu ek kaam kar sabko lekar haveli ja wahan par joint sangeet karle. Main Daddu se kehta hoon ki wo Dadiji se baat kar lenge. Mera jaana hi problem hai tu fikar mat kar main nahi jaoonga. Mehndi ki rasam ki mere liye footage laya tha na? Bas waise hi sangeet ki bhi lekar aa. Waise bhi Ashi aur Saachi ke saath Anandiji ko bhi bahut khushi millegi." Shiv says all genuine and senti stuff to Mahi. "Lekin bhai main aapko aur bhabhi ko milana chahta hoon is liye joint sangeet ki baat ki hai." Mahi was yet sad that his Bhai would not be able to meet his Bhabhi. Shiv had met Anandi that morning thought the time spent was not enough he decided it would do. "Baki ki kasar phone call se ya video chat se poori kar loonga." Shiv thought.

He goes to Daddu and the elders of his family and tells them about his plan. Daddu contact Dsa and after much persuasion and the promise that Shiv will not come she says that it is OK. It is decided that the Shekhar's and Singh's will have a joint Sangeet. Shiv did his part beautifully to increase Anandi's happiness. Anandi got the news that there was joing to be a joint sangeet. She was very excited to hear about it as she would get to meet Shiv twice in one day. Ashi, Saachi and Anandi all begin to get dressed for the sangeet. First the devraani jethani duo help Saachi dress. She wears a beautiful lengha choli she bought from the local Jaitsar market. She is sent down as her family had arrived.

Anandi and Ashi felt bad about sending Saachi away but they had no choice. They could not let her see the mehndi they had put. Then they talk and take their own sweet time getting dressed. Anandi wore a beautiful purple and silver lengha choli. Ashi was dressed in a baby pink lengha choli. They wanted Shiv and Mahi to tarso to see them. Shiv called Anandi to talk to her before the sangeet ceremony. Ashi gives her some privacy and leaves.

"Kya aap bhi C S thoda toh sabar kijiye main bas neeche aa hi rahi hoon."

"Mujhe toh tab tak sabar karna hoga aapko dekhne ke liye jab tak sangeet khatam hone ke baad Mahi video recording lekar ghar nahi aata."

"Kya matlab? Aap nahi aaye? Par Dsa ne toh kaha tha ki joint sangeet hai. Toh phir bina dulhe ke sangeet kaise ho sakta hai?" Anandi was almost in tears that she will not be able to meet Shiv. Something in her was drastically changing.

"Haan maine hi joint sangeet ka idea diya tha lekin main nahi aa sakta. Ek do baar hum mil liye kyunki genuine problem thi aur kabhi maine bahana banaya. Par itne saare mehmaano ke hote hue mein nahi aa sakta. Dsa apne rules and regulations ke liye jaani jaati hain aur agar wo humaare liye exception karti hain aur koi aur buzurg unse kuch kahega toh mujhe bahut bura lagega iss liye main nahi aaya."

"Aap waha akele hain. Aapko bura nahi lag raha? Itne saare ghante aap kaise rahenge? Khana pina toh sab hai na? Main ek kaam karti hoon aapke liye tiffin leke aati hoon. Dsa ko meri baat maanni hi hogi. Ye meri aakhri zid hogi. Mere zid par unhone mehndi lagwa li bina samaaj ki fikar kiye to kya wo meri itni si baat nahi mananegi? Main abhi ke abhi aa rahi hoon wahan."

"Arre aap itni chinta mat kijiye. Ghar main khana hai. Aur aapse kisne kaha main yahan akela hoon? Aap hai na mere saath. Main itne ghante aapki yaadon aur aapki muskurahat ke saath bitaoonga. Without any disturbnance. Mere Bday, Sagaai, haldi aur mehndi ke video dekhkar. Main kush hoon ki main ye pal akele main jee sakta hoon. Dadiji ke saamne aisi koi zid nahi karengi jisse koi unhe kuch kahe. Aap please meri chinta mat kijiye aur sangeet acche se enjoy kijiyega aapko meri kasam hai."

Anandi faintly smiles and promises to enjoy her sangeet. She bids him bye and disconnects the call. Her heart was longing to see Shiv. Ashi comes up to get her and sees her unhappy. Anandi shares her sadness with Ashi. Ashi knew everything about Anandi and Shiv's relation right from its inception as she was the one who had made Shiv realize that he loved Anandi. She also knew that it had taken time for Anandi to say yes to Shiv. They sit there a little while and she sees how Anandi is missing Shiv. She smiles as Anandi knows what everyone feels yet she is so unaware of her own feelings for Shiv. She was not missing her Best Friend but her love. Ashi presses Anandi's shoulders to comfort her. She offered to stay the night but then refused herself saying that she needed sleep and the way Shiv and Anandi talk almost all night these days she would not get any sleep and would end up getting dark circles. She wanted to look pretty for Mahi. Anandi had been teased enough to give a faint smile.

The sangeet ceremony is about to start. All the guests have arrived. Ashi brings Anandi down. She is excited to meet her in 'laws but she is missing Shiv badly. The person solely responsible for her happiness is not there with her. They all try to make her smile. There is a grand revealing of the beautifully decorated swing .Anandi is happy to see it. She is made to sit on the floral decorated swing. She loves swings so Shiv had given the idea so that she would miss him less. LIKE THAT WAS GONNA WORK C S. She missed him even more after knowing that the jhula was his idea.

Anandi is trying to enjoy the dance performances as she had promised Shiv. She used to get lost in his thoughts at times. She had a forced smile and everyone who knew her knew that she was faking the smile. Bhairon and Sumitra are worried to see her like this. They pursue Dsa to call Shiv. She too saw her chidakli fake a smile on one of the happiest days of her life. The Shekhar's also discuss Anandi's sad face and Daddu decides to talk to Dsa and see if it was possible to call Shiv.

Ashi and Saachi dance on a traditional number. Mahi is recording everything. He also on purpose records the fake smile Anandi was giving. He had planned to go home mid ceremony and show it to Shiv so he would come to the sangeet. Everyone in the families give dance performances on traditional songs. They do a beautiful ghumar too. Anandi is asked to dance but she politely declines. That's it bhabhi is too sad and she is my bhabhi she can't be sad on her sangeet. Mahi had decided to break all rules and make his bhai ' bhabhi meet.

He saw the elders engrossed in some serious talk. He is about to sneak out when he was called by Daddu. Anandi noticed that all the elders were talking about something serious. Mahi was receiving instructions for a special task. He was sad when it all started but then a bright smile appeared on his face. She could not hear anything could just see the expression change from serious to happy. "Sach Daddu? Aap mazaak toh nahi kar rahe na? main sach main jaaoon? Unhe lekar aaoon?" "Haan mere laal ja jaakar le aa apne bhai ko. Teri bhabhi ka chera dekh kaise murjha gaya hai. Humaare bagiche ka sabse sundar gulaab aisa udaas hai. I can't tolerate. Ja bhai humaare jawaan ko jaldi se la. Hum sab toh fail ho gaye Anandi ki muskurahat lane mein ab wo hi kuch kar sakta hai." "Theek hai main bhaiyya ko lekar aata hoon lekin bhabhi ko mat batana. Unke chehre ki muskurahat dekhne jaisi hogi jab bhai achaannak unke saamne aayenge."

Mahi leaves with Shyaam to get Shiv. When they reach the C H Shiv is watching Anandi's still in the mehndi ceremony video. Mahi gives him the good news that he can come to the sangeet. At first Shiv thought that he was going against the rules and refused to go with him. Shyaam confirmed that he has been asked to grace the sangeet ceremony with his presence because Anandi is far too sad without him. "Par wo itni udaas kyun hai? Har koi jo unse aur wo jinse pyaar karti hain wo hai na wahaan. Aapne jhula to lagaya hai na wahaan?"

"Mere BHOLE BHANDARI bhaiyya aapka kuch nahi ho sakta. Daddu aur Dadima ne aapka naam Shiv ekdum sahi rakha hai. Shivji Aapki Parvatiji I mean Aapki Anandiji aapko miss kar rahi hai. Ye dekhiye kitni udaas hain aapke bina." Mahi shows Shiv the video to prove that how sad Anandi is without him. "Anandi ji itni udaas hain. Main aa raha hoon. Ab toh nahi bhi bulaya hai toh bhi main jaaoonga." Shiv gets dressed too quickly to leave for the haveli. "Bhaiyya aise nahi. Kuch surprise plan karte hain bhabhi ke liye. Unhe pata nahi chalna chahiye ki aap wahaan hai. Thoda sataiye unhe. Thoda tarsaiye. Aapko nahi pata humaare wahan pahunchne ke aadhe ghante baad Ashi aur Bhabhi neeche aaye. Unhe laga ki aap honge is liye jaan bhoojhkar aapko tarsane ke liye late aayi thi."

Shyaam raises his eyebrows sweetly at this. He got Mahi's intentions and winked at Mahi. He decided to pull Shiv's leg by scolding Mahi. "Meri behen hai voh. Use satane ki baat mere saamne Mahi?" Shiv too scolds Mahi and pulls his ears, "Haan aur nahi toh kya. Ek toh voh pehle se hi udaas hai aur tu hai ki unhe aur pareshaan karne ki baat kar raha hai." "Arre bhai mera bhabhi ko pareshaan karne ka matlab unhe dukhi karne ke liye pareshaan karna nahi tha. Thodi shararat thodi teasing karna tha. Main bhi bhabhi ko tang nahi karna chahta lekin koi surprise toh ho ki voh aapko wahan dekhkar aur bhi zyaada khush ho jaaye."

Both the brothers scratch their head and Shyaam looks on. "Anandi ke saath kuch bhi karne se pehle soch lena Shiv. Tum jaante ho meri choti si pari naraaz ho gayi toh use manana bahut mushkil hota hai. Mera experience toh yahi kehta hai."

Shiv looks at Shyaam,"Pari?" "Kyun usne tumhe nahi bataya ki main use uske bachpan se pari kehta hoon? Wo jab bhi mujhse naraaz hoti thi main uske liye gudiya lata hoon. Aaj bhi. Usne har gudiya ko bade jatan se sambhalkar rakha hai. Kabhi kabhi toh uski aur Shagun ki ladaai bhi ho jaati hai un Gudiyon ke saath khelne ke liye. Use aadat hai humaari sabse pehli rakhi par meri di hui gudiya ko saath lekar sone ki. Wo use yahan bhi lekar aayegi. Use gudiya ke saath khelne ka bahut shaukh tha." Shyaam has tears in his eyes speaking about his little sister to her honewala beend.

"Shiv aap bahut acche hain. Dsa ne aap mein zaroor har wo gun dekha hoga jo Anandi ke liye ek acche jeevan saathi mein hone chahiye. Main aaj aapse sirf ek prathna karta hoon ki humesha use aise hi kush rakhiyega. Bachpan se usne kai pareekshayen di hain par us nanhi si bacchi ki sabse badi pareeksha mein se ek tab li gayi jab usne apni bal vidhwa Sugna jiji ka byaah mujhse karane ki than li thi. Dus saal ki us choti si Anandi ki wajah se aaj mera pyaar mere saath hai, mera ghar parivaar phala phoola hai. Use bhi wahi sab milna chahiye jo usne doosron ko diya hai. JEEVAN BHAR KI KHUSHIYAN." Shiv had no idea that Sugnajiji was a bal vidhwa too and that Anandi at such a young age had brought happiness to her life. He has tears in his eyes as he wipes Shyaam's tears and promises to keep his 'pari' always happy. It was the goal of his life too.
