Loved it, loved it, and just loved it. Its reallly awesome except that Dadisa is unwell, and like B and B's talk with Jagath and even Lal Singh. Update this faster unlike color of life plz. I think Anandi and Jagat are going to have world war 3 now in temple and Shiv witnessing the true Jhansi Ki Rani...Ooops Jaitsar ki Rani.😆

Excellent! Shiv needs to be convinced of Anandi's commitment to him & this confrontation will do just that

Jagya had seen Anandi leave to go to the temple and knew that he needed to convince her to let him treat daadisa. This was his last shot to get back in the family's good graces. He needed to take back what was his and this was the only way. He knew his family would eventually forgive him, especially if he saved daadisa. Convincing them that he was reformed and that he wanted to lead a happy life with Anandi was going to be hard because of that collector but it was doable. He had noticed some tension between them ever since his return. Anandi got into the jeep and Makhan drove her to the temple. Jagya tried to run and get her to stop but but they did not see him and left. Jagya did not see any other recourse than to walk. None of the villagers would give him a ride because they had all been privy to the drama that happened and hated him for coming back and making Anandi sad all over again. Many of them had even asked him to go away.

Anandi reached the temple determined to pray for daadisa. She sent the jeep back to the hospital telling Makhan she would walk home and also that they might need him. She felt so guilty. She was the reason all this happened. How did everything go so wrong so suddenly? Though she was forced and coerced into this wedding, she had actually started to like Shiv and she adored his family and his family adored her or so she thought. Tears ran down her eyes as she remembered everything. Then the ringing of the temple bell brought her out of the somber reverie and she wiped her tears and went to pray. She met one of the villagers coming down and the lady told her that daadisa will be fine and that the whole village was praying for her. She told Anandi to take care of herself and told her that everything will be fine. Anandi nodded and went into the temple.

Just as Anandi disappeared into the temple, Shiv pulled up and ran into the temple, pausing only to hurriedly take off his shoes. He prayed with all his might that he get there before Jagya. Everything seemed quiet and he hoped things were fine. He entered the temple and hid behind a huge pillar scouting out the location and saw Anandi praying and Jagya nowhere in sight. He heaved a sigh of relief. Just as he was about to reveal himself and call her name when he saw Anandi look around and seeing no one she sat down in front of the idol and started crying. Shiv was ready to rush out until he heard her talk. Shiv remained hidden as he listened to her share her innermost thoughts with god.

Anandi could not seem to stop crying. She stood up again in front of Goddess Durga's idol and asked her "Kyun maa kyun. Kyun itne parikhayen leti hain aap meri? Jagya mujhe chod kar chala gaya phir bhi maine apne aap ko sambhal liya. Lekin phir aap ne meri maa ko cheen liya aur main phir se toot gaye. Phir aap meri zindagi mein Collector Sahab ko layee aur kuch der ke liye aisa lag raha tha ki sab kuch teek ho jaayega. Mujhe aisa laga ki Collector Sahab ki parivaar waale mujhe tehe dil se apnayenge par main galat thi. Unhe main acche nahin lagthi.(Why mother why do you test me so many times? Jagya left me for another woman and I managed to get up again. Then you took my mother from me and left me bereft. Then you brought Collector Sahab into my life and for a while it seemed like everything was going to be ok. I thought Collector Sahab's family will accept me with an open heart but I was wrong. They don't like me)

Anandi started sobbing bitterly in front of the idol and Shiv could not believe his ears. What was Anandi rambling on about? She must be mistaken. He knew his family liked her and they had told him as much. His mother was crazy about her and his father loved her. Daadaji adored her and scolded Shiv that he needed to take better care of her.

His thoughts were interrupted when Anandi started speaking again. She said "Main jaanthi hoon ki main Collector Sahab ke kaabil nahin hoon. Mujhse bahut behtar bheendni mil sakthi hai unhe. Aur ab mujhe pata hai ki yahi baat unka poora parivar bhi sochtha hai. Aisa kyun hai maa. Main jo chahthi hoon who kyun nahin hotha. Pechle kuch dinon mein asha ki halki si kiran dikhi thi mujhe ki main sab kuch bhulakar Collector Sahab ke saath ek nayee zindagi shuru kar sakthi hoon. Who bahut pasand karthe hai mujhe aur ab dheere dheere se who acche lagne lage hain mujhe. Aap ko jab rishta jodna hi nahin that toh kyun laaye aap unhe mere zindagi mein? Jagya ke aa jaane ki wajah se unke ghar walan ko mujh par shak ho gaya. Par maa main toh jaanthi hi nahin thi ki Jagya wapas aa gaya hai. Gharwaalon ne sab milkar mujhse ye baat chupayee aur unke gharwaalon ne doosra hi matlab nikal liya. Jab ye baat mere saamne khuli tab main gussa thi aur na jaane daadisa ko kya kya keh gayee yahan tak ki who mujh par vishwas nahin karti aur main ghar chod kar chali jaaongi. Ab daadisa ko kuch ho gaya toh main kya karoongi. Devi maa mujhe koi bhi sazaa manzoor hai par meri galti ki sazaa daadima ko mat di jiye. (I know I am not fit for Collector Sahab and he can get a much better wife than me and now I know his whole family thinks the same thing. Why does it have to be like this maa? Why do I never get what I want? In the past few days I had started to see a tiny ray of hope that I could forget everything and start a new life with Collector Sahab. I know he likes me a lot and slowly I have started liking him too. When you did not want to let this relationship bloom, why did you bring him into my life. Jagya coming back has broken the trust his people had on me. But how was I supposed to know he was back especially when my own family hid it from me. When I came to know the truth, I got so angry and said lots of things to daadisa even saying that daadisa does not trust me and that I will leave home. If something happens to daadisa what will I do? Devi maa please give me any punishment, I am ready to take it but please do not punish daadisa for my mistake.)

Shiv's head was truly spinning now. So Anandi did not know Jagdish was back in town because her family hid it from her. He understood why they would do that knowing the kind of person he was. He also knew her family wanted the best for her. But he did not understand who in his family would dare say something to her, knowing fully well that he loved her. The pieces fell into place and he finally understood why Anandi was distant. Just as he was about to reveal himself Anandi continued "Agar who iss rishthe se khush nahin hain toh mujhe unhe apne aap se door karna hi hoga. Par main peche bhi nahin hat sakthi. Marthi hui maa ko vachan do diya hai maine ki main Collector Sahab se shaadi karoongi. Ye kaisa dharam sankat hai. Mujhe unki gharwalon ki baat maanni hogi. Aakhir Collector Sahab aur unke gharwalon ki khushi bhi mere liye bahut maayne rakhtha hai. Main apni wajah se unki zindagi barbaad nahin hone de sakthi. Main kya karoon. (If they are not happy with this relationship, I need to go away from him. But I cannot even step back because I have promised my dying mother that I will marry Collector sahab. What a quandary? But no, I have to do what his family wants, because the wishes of his family and his wishes are also important. I cannot destroy his life. What should I do?"

Just then Anandi felt dizzy and started to sway. Shiv ran out and held her before she hit the ground. He saw some water in a pot nearby and sprinkled it on her. He was worried and hated himself for being the reason for her stress. As Anandi came to she saw Shiv next to her and attempted to move away. Shiv told her that she needed to rest and Anandi insisted she was fine and they started arguing. Just then a few of the village ladies entered and commented "Ye lo shaadi hui bhi nahin aur abhi se bheend-bheendni ke jaise lage hain ye donon." (These two are not yet married but are already behaving like husband and wife) Anandi and Shiv both looked at each other embarrassed.

Anandi stood up and swayed a little. Shiv would have none of it and picked her up and said "Kya kar rahein hain aap. Neeche utariye. Main chal sakthi hoon." (What are you doing? Put me down. I can walk). Shiv would have not listened but he heard giggling from the village ladies and Anandi gave him a furious look. So he put her down and said "Chaliye main aapko ghar pahuncha deta hoon" (Lets go. I will take you home). Anandi protested but Shiv would have none of it. One of the older village ladies intervened and asked her to do what he future bheend says because he is right. She pointed out that Anandi was tired because she was at the hospital all night and Daadisa would like it if Shiv took care of her. Anandi acquiesced and let Shiv take her home. Shiv wanted to stay close to Anandi while he processed all this new information and figured out who was it that said something to Anandi. That person was responsible for this whole mess and for daadisa's ill health. He was going to get to the bottom of this and for that he needed to be close to Anandi to pump her for information 😎.

Anandi called Gehna from the temple and told her that she was going home to make something to eat for everyone since no one had eaten. Gehna told her not to worry until she got there and Anandi told her to stay with daadisa and that she would manage. Shiv told Gehna that he would help Anandi and Gehna laughed and said "Rehne di jiya kanwarsa. Main aa jaaungi" (Leave it be Kanwarsa. I will come back.) Anandi and Gehna continued discussing the menu and soon Anandi and Shiv got to the jeep and Anandi hung up. Shiv held the door and helped Anandi into the jeep. Shiv once again volunteered his services to help her cook 😆. Anandi told him she could manage and then he said "Do you remember. The halwa gets better if I touch it. I am sure you are making that. You should let me help and everyone will get to enjoy good halwa and it will make them all feel better. Anandi started laughing saying "Hmm. Yeh baat toh sach hai par ye kya logic hai aapka." (Hmm. That is true but what kind of logic is that?). Shiv said "Kuch bhi ho Anandiji aap ke haaton mein jadoo hai. Aapke halwa khaate hi aadmi apne saare dukh dard bhool jaata hai. (Say what you want Anandiji but there is magic in your hands. As soon as a man eats your halwa they forget about all their problems). Anandi looked at him and said "Woh sab toh teek hai lekin aapko nahin lagtha Collector sahab kuch zyaada nahin ho gaya" (All that is fine collectors sahab but don't you think your overdid it a bit.) Shiv made a puppy face and said "Aapki tareef karna mera dharam hai Anandiji" and winked at her. (It is my duty to praise you Anandiji). Anandi could not believe that collector sahab was openly flirting with her. She had never imagined that he would be such a flirt. She did not know what tomorrow held but she decided to enjoy the moment and agreed to let Shiv help. Shiv was happy he made her smile. Shiv started the jeep and they drove away talking about something. Shiv was so glad Anandi was smiling again and also because he would get to spend some quality time with her while doing his investigation on the side 😈.

Jagya had finally made it to the temple hoping to talk to Anandi and just then he saw that collector making Anandi sit in his jeep and get ready to leave. He said something to Anandi and she laughed. Jagya was so ticked off. Daadisa was in critical condition and these two were behaving as if they were on a date 😡. Well he would tell everyone so that they would know she is not a dutiful daughter like she is supposed to be 😈. He would get back into the house by hook or crook. He took out his phone and snapped some pictures of them laughing and watched as they drove away and smiled evilly.

I love it but I am afraid to get too invested because I am still begging for updates on your other works of art and now I am scared to ask you to update soon for fear that you might not and start something new... but I do love what you have written thus far...
