Jagya's dukh (an analysis of Jughead)

Jagya has suffered so much. He was a selfish kid who had everything, was pampered by his grandmother. He used to take advantage of her love and just for that his terrible parents would punish him! How mean. His dutiful Anandi would get him out of tough spots- But what's so great about that? She's his Beendni no? 😡

Then he decided to leave back all his roots and become modern! With his wonderfully modern wife no 2! Gauri was so modern that she felt it was totally ok to accept a guy who lied to her for 5 years and cheated on his wife. That's not regressive at all, no? Jagya was so modern that instead of coming clean to Anandi about the fact that he was not happy with their love and marriage, he decided to blame her and abuse her. He would tell her to leave behind old stuff but when she educated herself, he hated that too. So modern. He came and flashed his happy life with Gauri in front of Anandi. How sweet.

At times, he was so moody. He would be nice to his ex in front of his new wife! How bad! I think this comes from the fact that he has a flair for polygamy. He's really good at it. When he was married to Anandi, he could see all her flaws and realised how much he loved Gauri. When he was with Gauri, Anandi felt like a goddess. How sweet! Really, he was good at handling two women simultaneously coz he's an expert on comparing women like commodities, rating them and exchanging them and crushing their self-esteem. 😆

He has many more wonderful qualities. He is arrogant, egotistical, selfish and self-righteous. He loves blaming other people for his faults because he's actually never wrong. Even if his grandmother spoiled him, his father was the ultimate feminist. But lets ignore that.

And now Mr Awesome is back! Jaitsar is so lucky! And now eventhough he did bad things, God is so unfair that he made him fall sick. Wifey no 2 dint bother to come just like he had not bothered about Anandi. But that's forgivable! Coz everything is Gauri's fault na! The theory is that Gauri turned to be bad so Jagya feels that he made a mistake. But had Gauri been good then Jagya would have been totally justified in dumping Anandi. Hai na? His fervent apologies seem to suggest this. So nice. 👏

The Singhs should totally take him back. Instead of dumping his selfishness and trying to stand on his own feet and win back his family by his good conduct, he dumped Gauri! Wow! Dont forget that Jagya is actually a toddler- everything he did was coz Gauri made him do it. After 20 years of love and support from his family and wife, it is totally Gauri's fault that he left his family for her. Gauri's so silly that she doesnt understand that to be Mrs Awesome she has to forget herself and become an ideal wife and bahu. And even then there is no guarantee that Jagya will be happy. Sorry Gauri but thats just how Jagya rolls! 😡

As the forum discusses JaAn reunions and Anandi's feelings, I thought that we should talk about Jagya and how much of a boon he is to all of womenkind. Where else would you get an average guy with an inflated ego who would treat you like a doormat, a dustbin and tissue paper all at the same time? I actually believe that its his superpower to suck out every bit of strength and happiness out of the women he 'loves'. And I used to think Shiv was special! How silly of me. Jagya should get everything except the suffering that he deserves.. Gauri, Anandi, family n even an apology from Shiv! Hai na, Jagya sympathizers? 😉

P.S. Some people on IF dont understand sarcasm so I'm just making it clear that this is a SARCASTIC post. I have made points that I think are valid, in a fun way. Hope you like it but ok if you dont. I welcome both positive and negative comments. Thank you for reading. 😊
