No., Ela, - As per what I have U/stood of Shiv's character, he would be indeed pained by what she had done., and WILL have a one to one conversation with her on same., Also, he will surely appologise to Anandi from his side on his CM's behaviour...

I agree..irawati is always showed as happy and smiling...??? not an ounce of worry on her face...its quite unreal...

Shiv is her only son. In real life mothers are a possessive lot. Irawati ka character bhi strange hai.

I don't think that is really a problem between the 2 sisters-in-law. Iravati also pampers Mahi more than shiv...remember the sagai episode when Choti ma tells Iravati how she shouldn't have bought the bike for Mahi? Thse kund of things are not so uncommon in joint families where you may be closer to your chachi/taiji more than your mom

Irawati to me seems to be a cool sort of person ... she is not threatened by anyone else. She is secure in her own position as mom, and if choti maa does something, then it is always as "extra"... she never regards it as subtracting something from her own position as mom.

And for the most part, shiv does not really "share" anything with choti maa per se. I mean he keeps his distance from both moms 😆😆 ... and only eats the food that they have made ... it is not like he confides extensively in choti maa and leaves irawati out of the picture/in the dark.

So choti maa's closeness with shiv is purely a one-sided initiative from her side (as shown till now... she confides her views to shiv ... etc... but shiv has never gone to her to confide his insecurities or to talk to choti maa about anandi etc. or seek her opinion).

If at all Irawati were to feel insecure, then I think it would have to be because shiv showed more inclination towards choti maa but that is not the case. It is always choti maa piling on to him with her unsolicited suggestions and advice and her own points of view and beliefs.

So irawati just humours her and lets it be. 😆

I wouldn't say CM cunning...atleast as of now., ...she is just like a frog in a well...and too much concerned for Shiv...who cannot think beyond her perception of his happiness.

Do not know to what extent the CV's are going to take these slight grey shades in her...

Irawati - is neither stupid nor dumb...she is a progressive lady who has trust in her son's decisions

Agreed she is like his mother.She very much attached to Shiv and has taken care of him since childhood.She is also more attached to him that she is to her own son.She just does not like the idea of somebody else being more important to Shiv than her even it is his wife.

Shiv's own mother Irawathi has a life apart from her children.She seems to be fully occupied with various things.CM doesn't seem to have any interests in life other than taking care of him and pampering him.She probably feels a sense of loss.She would have been able to handle Ashima.That's why she did not mind seeing Ashima as Shiv's wife. But Anandi is totally different from Ashima.Anandi is not somebody she can control.That's why she resents Anandi.

@Tinoo..I agree with you..I find Irawati cool, confident and secure in her position😊. She knows her son and is completely satisfied with his choice as she knows that he is very level headed and he will choose the girl who is perfect for him and the family
