OS --Story for Anshul

🐷This is the first time I am trying my hand at writing a OS. I am sucker for feel good books/movies/serials and always hope that everything that works out for the characters is on a positive track.

It is late night in Udaipur. In one of the houses in IAS officers colony in Udaipur, a toddler of 4 is trying his best to sleep 😭. But he cannot. Alas, his teddy bear is also awake too as both of them are missing story from their mama 🤢. His mama would always put him to sleep reading out lovely stories of jumping animals, talking plants, and colourful birds. He would start dreaming of all these and would go to sleep slowly. But today, both mama and papa seem to be extremely busy with their work.

He turned left to see his mama. Tiny glasses are perched on her nose and she is busy going through printouts of some reports. His mama is adviser to the child welfare department and going through schemes for rural girls education. She is simultaneously chewing her pencil and underlining key points.

Mama, mujhe neend nahi aarahi hai, please mujhe kahani sunao naa 😛, Anshul the toddler says. Mama looks fondly at him and says- Anshu, mujhe na aaj yeh report khatam karni hai, bas aaj ek din papa aapko kahaani sunayenge. Anshul wide eyed and surprised ⭐️says- papa ko kahaniyah aati hai kya? Mama says haan--Looking at papa she says-- papa aap anshul ko kuch achhi kahani sunadijiye, woh soh jaayega. 😛

Papa looks up quizically 🤓at the request and takes a moment to understand what is going on. He being the secretary of the rural development department has to finalize plans for checkdams in villages and is working on them. He badly wants to take a few minutes break and says chalo aaj mai anshul ko kahani sunata hoo.. Anshul is very excited as this is the first time that he gets to hear story from his papa!!!

Papa thinks hard-- he can think of only management techniques or problem solving issues😕...Tries to remember stories for children, but his mind is blank. Then, a idea hits him and says-- mai aapko aaj ek rajkumari ki kahani sunata hoo..Anshul is listening wide eyed 🐷 and mama too is now curious to see what papa has to say..😳
Papa starts..ek din ek rajkumari puraskar lene ke liye rath par jaa rahi thi.. Anshul --Papa, rath kya hotha hai, maine yeah kabhi nahi dekha- papa immediately googles for rath images and shows them to anshul. NOw, anshul is visualizing rajkumari on rath.

Papa says achanak kahi se, pataake ki awaaz aayi aur woh ghoda bhaagne laga jungle ki taraf . Raajkumari chillane lagi bachao , bachao.. Ghoda aur speed se daudne laga and rajkumari bohot ghabaraa gayi. Kya karti phir.. Anshul-- wahan koi nahi taah rajkumari ko bachane ke liye? 😕

Papa --haan, aaya na ek rajkumar use bachane keliye.. jeep me aaya, rath pe chhalang lagayi and raajkumari ko bachaya. Rajkumari ko uske gharwalo ke paas safely chod diya. Anshul is very happy with the ending and claps his hands👏. Both mama and papa look at him as he slowly goes to sleep. But, anshul suddenly says-- papa -- woh rajkumar koun hai , mujhe maloom hai.😛.

Mama-- Koun hai beta, she is very curious to know what he has imagined. Anshul -- aur koun honge-- papa hi thona!!!!! Papa is flummoxed and says kaise??.Mama looking slyly at papa, winking says -- Kyon nahi pata chalega, kyoki aapka hi beta hai- bahut intelligent and samajdar 😉. Anshul oblivious to this nok jhok has already fallen asleep 😃.

REalizing that the story telling is so exhilarting, Papa looking very fondly at Anshul says, kal na mai aapko aur ek kahaani sunaoonga-- nahar wali, kaise nahar bana. Mama looks up suddenly from her reports and says aapko aur koi bacho ki kahani nahi mile sunane ke liye?? 😒 😒 Chalo mujhe aaj aapke liye children's story books laane padeange, tha ki aap us management books and kitaabo sey bahar aayenge.

Mujhe ab children's book list banani hai and Anandi gets up to look for a paper and pen 😊. There is happiness and contentment on her face. She is desparately trying to remember where she is and realizes that it is a dream-- a beautiful dream, which hidden in her subconscious is motivating her to go grasp and make it real. She realizes that her destiny lies in wholeheartedly accepting Shiv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳
