...I know that there are a lot experts here. But I would like to give my two cents here.
I think I understand why Anandi is sooo gloomy. This is because she is not only hurt but also still has a lot of unresolved issues. She was accused of a lot of things which she knows are false but Jagya/Jagat never bothered to listen to her.
Sometimes, to move forward in life you need to resolve the past hurt, issues and pain. Some of it is healed with time (which was not given to her) and some of it is resolved by talking to a friend/relative (Sumitra is not here). So, it is difficult for a person to just forget and move on.
I think that Jagat coming to Jaitsar and maybe even asking for forgiveness will make her feel better about herself. She was made to feel worthless by Jagya/Jagat. But now perhaps she will feel a bit better.
