If ur complaint is love then He has choice of sacrifice - he can marry someone who loves him (Ashi) or someone who he loves (Anandi). If he wants Anandi then he has to accept her constraints including the fact that she doesn't "dil se" want him. He can't force her to love him nor expect her to. Choice he is making to still proceed knowing that truth.

Btw - she is requesting him to marry her... she is not telling him he has to sacrifice himself on the alter of her behrookhi even if you do consider that she is expecting him to sacrifice here.

Anandi knew Shiv wanted marry her whatever be his reason - ehsaan, insaniyat, watever... and she is considerately asking him to marry her. Its a humble request not order. If she was demanding it then I would totally agree she was being incosiderate... now I better go litten my bhoj!

She is making a different choice from her original one - that doesn't make the choice she is now making a burden or that it won't invoke her interest and care.
