apkj & Anjana: I so agree with you guys that Shiv has made it ALL Clear that he wants Anandis hand in marriage. Just his very presence in Anandis Mayka at this point signifies that- and of course the things that you have detailed even more so.
We have to keep in mind that this show is in a rural setting- the lead hero does not go around screaming from rooftops that he 'loves' the lead heroine and wants to marry her- things are done oh so very subtly. And that is exactly what Shivji has been doing. His gift, his letter, his phone conversation with Anandi, with Dadisa, his Skype Session Abhyan etc etc have made it very obvious what role he is looking for in Anandis life.
And really yaar- I see the signs as well. All dialogues, spoilers etc give an indication of the fact that Shivs mother will be a tough nut to crack. But according to me, Shiv is not some random early 20s something. He has clearly achieved a lot in life- so his mum should not dismiss his choice - he is shown to be quite a mature individual- who despite having spent some time abroad is mindful of his Indian sense & sensibilities. Heres hoping that the creatives keep this in mind and don't show some stupid track of Shivs mum thinking her beta is nadaan and that he has been phasaofied by a divorcee. 😕
Anyways, even if she opposes , I hope Shiv conveniently disposes her thoughts and goes and proposes. 😆
