bilkul sahi shiv ki maa ke roll mein Anuradha ekdam fit hai. dusri baat yeh hai ki uska roll Positive hona chahiye. aur tisri baat yeh ki Anandi ne bachpan se dadisa ka julm saha hi hai aur jo kami thi woh Jagya ne puri kar di ab Anandi ko khush rahene ka adhikar bhi hai aur hum use Shiv ke sath apni shaadi suda zindagi mein khush bhi dekhna chahtein hai.

Chosing Anuradha Patel for the role of Shiv's mom kind of shows that CV's are going for a positive character. She looks smart , sophisticated and a warm person.
She might have some initial differences with Shiv for his choice, but i am sure that would go away once she meet Anandi and understands her a bit.

Anuradha Patel is a very good choice but if they want to turn this character grey later then Neena Gupta would be just perfect. She has the village feel to her and she is the strongest in acting abilities of all the three choices. Anuradha P is perfect for the kind of mom she played in "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na".

Anuradha Patel did the movie "Ijaazat" with Naseeruddin Shah and Rekha and she was very good in it. An excellent movie,it is.

Why do they want to show only Shiv's mother? Where is his whole family? It would have been good so we know what type of family she will join.

I think that Anuradha patel would be perfect as Shiv's mom. I also think that the Cv's should consider her real life husband Kanwaljeet Singh in the role of Shiv's army officer dad as he is also tall and has a great personality and would look like his dad .
