Once shiv said to ds it will be my honour to have a wife like anandi. In reply anandi said pls do not do more ehsaan. So his decision is right.
Yes this is called self respect.
God before shiv coming everybody r praising anandi and talking about JA reunion but now people r not only satisfy by the newcommer but love shiv. As bhairon say anandi ka saccha jeevansathi ab aya hai.

Thats what any person with self respect and with respect for others should do. It would seem like like emotional blackmailing . Though he may be completely in love with aanandi , she may be having a conflict within her mind.

Better that they marry with mutual love and consent😊

I don't know.. shiv is right in wanting Anandi to marry out of will rather than just fulfilling Anandi's mothers dying wish.

Shiv did not feel the need to consult Anandi before he said YES to Dadisa ,

and now Anandi is being put in a similar situation so i do not see an issue of self respect really.

I do not see Shiv 'all that man of principals etc' right now.,

Anandi to love him is only possible if she is put in that position that is of a wife where she is expected to love and cherish her marriage and Shiv. So she will be eventually be able to do that.

Right now I do not expect her to fall in love with him and marry.

She might just say, I agree for the marriage willingly but cannot express love right away. Shiv might just agree to that.

Once he sees Anandi agreeing, he will agree as well.

All this , I will only agree if you love me , that is not going to happen as Anandi will not be able to love him right away

okay i got it!...i thought u may b talking about shiv should not marry anandi if she will not love him...like a condition...

i can understand shiv expects anandi to feel the same for him like he feels for her...but true love is something which does not expect anything...which does not apply any condition! and i want shiv's love to be the true one! 😃...now i got it what exactly u meant and i agree with u! i m glad that shiv is not forcing her...but he is giving importance to "her wish" above everything!! 😳...i hope anandi will be able to see it...

Its really difficult to fall in love again after a bad relationship. leave alone a marriage, so maybe Anandi can't fall in love with Shiv so soon. But atleast she can start liking him, warming upto him and should be sane enuf to give him a chance and life a second chance...

And given the self respect pretext, Anandi should take it in a positive light...

Agree - its not about LOVE. Its about willing as opposed to coerced consent. There is nothing wrong with arranged marriage if both parties are genuinely willing. And he wants a willing not unwilling bride. Love can follow. 😃

Thats what I wanted to say since so long...thanks @anjana for voicing my thoughts...

Arranged marriages do work but both parties have to be willing...Love can follow...It always does...and in AnSh case, it definitely will...and that too very soon...😳😃

Anandi rejecected Shiv thinking that he agreed to marry her because he felt sorry for her.And she also rejected the proposal because she was not yet prepared to get into another relationship and she was also not sure of her feelings for Shiv.She was very much right in feeling that way.

Now if Shiv feels bad that Anandi has agreed for marriage because she wanted to keep the promise she made to her mother which meant she is being forced to marry him.And he doesn't like the idea of a woman being forced into a relationship with him just like Anandi didn't like the idea of Shiv marrying her out of pity.

In a way both feel that marriage between them should happen for right reasons.

I do feel that his principles and beliefs that are making him feel the way he is feeling right now.If he did not have those principles it would definitely would not have mattered to him what Anandi's reasons for agreeing to marry him were.

In all probabilities they will get married and he will give her the time she requires.Because that is the right thing to do.

But sometimes we cant help the way feel.
