what was the point of sumitra's letter?

sumitra has said the same things to anandi several times over ... so I didnt see the point of sumitra's letter to anandi today saying the same thing yet one more time...

was there any broader significance?

She just wanted to welcome her daughter home.I agree all the things were already said.A small note of welcome would have been much nicer.

yaar in hindi movie kuch kuch hota hai rani mukherjee wrote letter to her 8 year old daughter . So taking courtesy from that movie sumi also wrote letter to anandi 😉

Sumitra's intention was to tell her these things via letter after the divorce, but she didn't know that there would be skype session just on the day of divorce, so she wasn't prepared with other stuff to talk so just repeated the same whats mentioned in letter😉

well it was an imporatnt and a painful day for her. She has ended her marriage. She must be needing Sumitra or mother-like figure, but she was absent. It was very thoughtful of sumitra to say the loving words. they alaways work like magic. We don't think twice before saying hurtful words to others and many times to same people when they err. What is wrong in repeating kind words? It hurts no one. 😊

well i think ti was very important...till now anandi was their official daughter in law...and yes their is no doubt singh will never throw her out...but yet she needed to be assured...and to even get some healing point also ke now she their daughter and not to think fo herself alone...their might be question ke pighead their son so if he returns then...so sumitra took care of it...saying now she their daughter...i know nothing of sort in papaer...but till now thats hwo things are working...trust on each other..so by keeping that in mind she welcomed her daughter with full explaination...and more over..even they were hurt..pighead was their only sibling and anandi was...is...and will be the only link to the son they cared and loved...so they also now in pain and they also need soem one to lean on...and this way they also trying to get away from their pain by calling anandi their daughter...as today was the day when finally the tie was all over..anandi's in papaer and pighead's in their mind and thinking...i wont say from heart as whateva pighead is it cant be denied he their son by birth..we might resent we might hate but we can not run from truth ke heart can never turn off from the kids when they are parents...liek bhairo said kash shiv kai ajisaa hota jageyaaa...so..their will eb always kash...so now they have only anandi...and they also assuring themself ke now anandi will be our sibling which we lost...

so i think this was necessary...and had its own significant...

i think she wrote it before the skype video conference ... 😛 ... hence the redundancy 😆 ... she didn't know she will get to talk to anandi, she must've posted the letter sooner for it to reach anandi from US so soon after her divorce.

in general i think the daily soaps don't have a "defined pace" ... there are days they drag and things would move a few milli meters and you'd wish you had caught it on the next days recap or a written update... and there are those with fast paced and sweet moments that we can watch over and over again 😊

i want to see anandi move on ( not necessarily fasttrack ) but at a reasonable and convincing pace 😍
