Jagadish according to me has aways been one helluva confused character.Pre leap, when Anandi and Jagya were still kids,he was clever but a spoilt brat.He got easily manipulated when he fell in the wrong company.Post leap nothing significant happened. He was the same manipulated guy.Upon reaching adulthood,he got carried away by the physical-prospect of marriage without understanding the deeper bonds marriage tied Anandi and him to.He wanted her care and concern when needed like the ragging incident. But refused to acknowledge the same care, love by her when he found a new girl. All those years of trust vanished into thin air.Our 'hero' was once again easily manipulated...Left his wife, left his family for a girl who promised to be a better competitor than a wife. She had d degree, qualification everything equal to him.But marriage isnt a match of equals, its a union and intersection of love, trust and loyalty. Our new girl swayed her magic wand and boom ...our hero was manipulated again. At tyms ,I do wonder if jagya has a mind of his own.Strength of character, ability to think ,make decisions thses are just a few qualities which Jagya, the supposed hero of the show lacks.
Enter Shiv,an highly qualified man brought in for the progress of Jaitsar, attracted the villagers attention by his unique persona. He was reserved and a no-nonsense guy.Gossip-mongers gossipped about Anandi and her ill-fated family life, but he was the least perturbed.Maintaining a strictly professional relationship with her,he never let all those talks manipulate his thoughts about Anandi, the Sarpanch.Well, a true man always has the discretion of whats good and bad and Shiv already knew Anandi. What i like the most about Shivs character is that he doesnt form opinions based on other peoples presumed facts nor does he get carried away.He has a mind of his own,and this is what makes his character far greater than Jagyas character.
Now that Shiv is slowly falling for Anandi, all i can tell her is,
When life takes away d precious present,it always replaces it with much a better future...

Very well said...When God takes away something from your hands, it means that he is planning to give you something better...
