Image? Dear ela you are getting it wrong. First of all right at the outset I want to clarify that I don't think that Anandi will easily accept shiv as her life partner. She will resist it. One, may be because of the hurt given to her by J (though I have a different opinion, i will explain in next para), and second Jagiya was her husband. Ever since teen she has thought of him as the ultimate guy. It wouldn't be this easy for her to get over him.
Now coming to the idea of image vs reality:
This viewpoint is very similar to Gauri, the only difference is that you have said hurt is hidden under her image while Gauri thinks it is caprice. I request you to realize that Anandi is not pretending. She is like that. Yes Jagiya has hurt her a lot but the point is has she really allowed his misbehaviour to affect her? An important difference noted by DS is the kind of patience that Anandi has as opposed to Gauri. Anandi is someone who is quick to forgive and forget. Remember how she used think that these kinds of fights used to happen even in childhood , but they were quickly forgotten, now she has no clue. On the eve of Jagiya's leaving to Mumbai after his second marriage, he talked to Anandi about his misbehaviour. The following dialogue took place:
She said," Main aapko kabhi maaf nahi karoon gi".
Jagiya replied," Toh kya mujhe hamesha doshi saamajthe rahogi"!
She said," Maaf nah karne mein aur doshi maan lene mein bahut antar hota hai".
When she decided to open adult education school in Jaitsar, one lady said that she has faults thats why Jagiya left her. Anandi crisply replied," Just because other person's do not behave properly with us, doesn't mean we are wrong. We are never responsible for other person's misbehaviour". 👏
Just because Anandi is not very loud doesn't mean she is weak. On the contrary it takes lot of courage to listen to people and not to allow it to affect you.The only alternate is become like Gauri, start screaming at people expecting overnight change.
I do expect Shiv to be patient towards her. I am not imagining a very easy love story. But yes the assessment of Shiv about Anandi's bittereness is right. She carries no resentment and anger towards her first partner. Many people waste their life thinking how unfairly they were treated, and keep revenge tendencies and bitterness alive. They self pity 😭 and sit somewhere sulking. It's something similar to gauri mata 😉. Anandi at no point shows herself to be bitter because she refuses to be see herself as a victim of Jagiya. Tell me even one day if she cried saying this should not happened to her or that she kept any ill will against Gauri. One day she got mad at the Singhs or DS or her family. Did she ever thought I shouldn't have helped Jagiya? When Jagiya left her she just let him go? She refused to pursue him to the city and started reconstructing her life. It would be very difficult if she had kept bitterness.
Shiv has made a valid point. Anandi cannot praise arrange marriage because it ruined her life. But see she refuses to generalize it. Her marriage went wrong so what there are thousands of other marriages which succeed. She can praise the institution without involving the bitterness of her experience. Very Very strong and sensible person.
I am sure even in her personal life she will adopt same approach. Not everybody is Jagiya she can see for it herself ⭐️. She may be resistive, thinking Shiv is pitying her or something, or she loves Jagiya or she wants to live alone. But I think subconciously she knows that shiv is her future. I think there is some chemistry in the precap today and what about her dream ?

Its only love. Its difficult to forget love of 17 years. She has been with him from childhood right. They were quite close initially. It will be difficult but she has already faced the pain. The trauma period is over. She will get over him. We always end up forgetting a love that is gone, unless until we want to ruin our life.

. She has no interest in marriage - its a closed chapter for her. Her thinking on that is stagnant... she has embraced her own personal akelepaan. Well its a rural setup, second marriage for a girl is quite difficult to concieve. It's not bitterness, but its not personal possitivity either...Its when you withdraw into a shell to protect yourself from further hurt. In that case lets see her resistance to Shiv, will she remember the hurt J gave her or something else. However, I can see her pain but not any distrust towards life. I am sure she will agree, but not easily. What she will object is a matter of speculation. But strong people like her know to throw past baggage out.
