Any way, if they have to have Ashi for long on the serial, uski Hindi nahi chalegi. Viewers can't take that accent too much. It wont be too cute any more. Very soon it will get on your nerves.

i agree... it will get really irritating after a point.
as of ashi or anandi for shiv... i would say as dadisa said is lapundari ko toh london mai kitne lapundare mil jayenge hamare collector ke liye toh hamari anandi hi hogi 😆😆😆

and i honestly want shiv and anandi to pair up... its is high time .. first they brought shravan and anandi fans started thinking he is the guy for anandi.. then they brought dr. abhishek that was again a disappointment.. and now finally they brought shiv... Shiv better be for anandi now... 😍

Amazingly written and well analysed. Kudos!

I think Shiv and Anandi do have a lot more in common than Ashi and Shiv. Ashi describes Shiv as her best friend and they may well be, but compatibility in friendship can be quite different to compatibility in a relationship. Ashi seems to complement Shiv well; she's open and sincere but she has a softer presence - more feminine personality. She may be ditzy but they studied together (an MBA presumably) and she's obviously no fool. I love my shopping too but that doesn't make me someone anyone should take less seriously. Shiv is extremely masculine, extremely opinionated and will call a spade a spade. Ashi would probably not be the type to stand up to Shiv like Anandi did for the school grant. Ashi is so hopelessly in love with him, it's sad to watch her gush about him. But on several counts, they would not be ideal life-partners.

Anandi and Shiv will be a relationship of equals. And Shiv just seems like the type who would appreciate a strong woman, someone more like himself, rather than one with whom he would have the typical man-woman relationship. There's much more potential for fireworks with Shiv and Anandi. But both Shiv and Anandi are not afraid to speak their mind and are also not afraid to admit when they are wrong. Most importantly, they listen to people and have open minds. And such well-balanced qualities will always be attractive to both of them. Of course, one could argue you might only respect someone with qualities you admire and not necessarily be attracted to them. What starts with respect for a pair who are single and of marriageable age should and will invariably turn into a romantic interest.

@persephone, very well said. The word I am looking for is challenging. Shiv is compatible with Anandi because she challenges him, she makes him be smarter and stretch himself, she makes him learn and grow. Ashi is a breath of fresh air, she would to some extent mould herself for Shiv. Anandi challenges him, stands up to him, will maintain her strong personality and bring fire to ignite his.

Shiv comes from a privileged background. Why then did he get into IAS, with traveling, living in far off villages, etc.? He likes being challenged, is personally attached to his work. Ashi is a good trophy wife for someone who roams in high society. For Shiv, a wife like Anandi would help navigate villages with her sensitivity. Anandi can be feminine and a breath of fresh air if she doesn't have to be defensive and protect herself all the time. I so long for Anandi to be carefree and happy, let herself go completely.

My only concern is this. In an interview, Shiv said his role is a cameo. I hope after all this CVs see that Shiv-Anandi are more popular and keep them together, and don't bring Jagya back to Anandi. Even if Jagya regrets and changes, some fundamental qualities NEVER change. Also it is the wrong message to society. Just like in Gulaal the CVs brought Kesar and Gulaal together against all odds, so do I hope for Shiv and Anandi. He is so much better for her, she deserves him.

I am referring to this article here: http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=3026491

I hope that CVs may have told him that its a cameo not knowing how viewers would take to him, now that he is popular they should make him a permanent cast and marry Anandi to him.
