Ashi or Anandi for Shiv

Ashi is a sweet girl, seems a bit spoiled with money and branded clothing, not very sensitive to how people in a village would perceive her clothing - which is fine by me! She seems to be very direct in her conversation, seems a bit superficial where her life is filled with shopping and trying out new things without much of a purpose in life. She has liberal views and seems to have a major crush on Shiv.

Anandi is carrying a lot of baggage from her broken marriage, child marriage, childhood verbal abuse by DS, HS' trying to ruin her reputation. Anandi thinks before speaking, holds a lot of sway over the villagers, knows how to deal with them, knows Jetsar in and out and is very committed to improving the life of the villagers, especially women, and eradicating social evils. She holds and conducts herself with a lot of grace and maturity, but is very young and learning the ropes to remove prejudices formed due to Jagya. Jagya broke her trust, for 5 years he kept her in the dark, the same Jagya that she grew up with and knew in and out she ended up being wrong about. It will be very difficult for her to trust another man again and open up completely. She also has a low self-esteem due to Jagya's abuse that she is a villager, etc., but has been trying hard to overcome that.

Shiv is a strong personality, he doesn't get into idle gossip, he has a strong enough POV that he doesn't get influenced by what others say. He is very committed to his job, is honest, very direct, and a thorough professional. He seems so "centered" and confident in himself. He finds Anandi very interesting, he has never met someone like her, everyday he learns something new and is surprised. He knows how committed she is to the development of Jetsar, she is smart and honest, in other words exactly like him. Shiv seems to be very intrigued by Anandi and wants to know more about her, Anandi has such a history!

Both Anandi and Shiv are strong individuals, confident, committed to their jobs - a common goal right now of Jetsar development. Both have strong POVs but are willing to change once they see logic or the other's POV. Both are intelligent and honest, both care deeply about their loved ones. They don't care much about superficial things such as looks, clothing, etc., they care more about being good people, their qualities shine through. Both play off each other very well.

If Shiv were to marry Ashi, he would need to pamper her all the time. Ashi would need a lot of pampering, praises about her looks, and she would not be able to share the same level of intelligence or commitment to his profession. They don't have any common ground other than their friendship. They are better off as friends.

If Shiv and Anandi were to marry, Shiv, through his strong POV and personality, would make Anandi trust him and love him, come out of her shell, and open up completely. Anandi in turn would show the same level of love and commitment that she showed Jagya, probably more. Anandi took the bullet for Jagya, she would do more for Shiv. And of course Shiv will get to eat delicious food every single day and night :). Anandi would support Shiv in his ideals and vice versa, both would fight for honesty and truth, both can bounce ideas off each other and together be a stronger team. Anandi's love would be stronger and more mature. She had to accept Jagya because everyone around her told her he is her beend, she loved him no matter what not because of his qualities, but because he was her beend. Shiv, on the other hand, would be a choice she makes and loves because of his qualities and how he enriches her life. Both are perfect perfect for each other. They will have fights and arguments because they are have a strong POV, but they will be able to come around and work it out with maturity. There is a lot of mutual respect, both listen to each other because they speak with substance.

I used to read updates, but now I watch every single episode and impatiently wait for the story to develop. Shiv is HOT, Anandi and Shiv's chemistry is building, Shiv is intrigued by her. Anandi will be more comfortable around Shiv since she thinks that Ashi is his GF, this is a big step in their becoming friends.

If Jagya were to return, he would never be good for Anandi. He would be jealous of her success all the time and bring her down. Jagya is selfish, Anandi is better off without him.

However, it is not necessary that just because ashi and shiv are completely different that they may never hook up. Agreed that ashi comes across as a ditzy socialite who needs a lot of attention, but for shiv to say that she is his best friend, they obviously have a lot in common and enjoy (or enjoyed spending time together in London) spending time together. I like ashi. She seems to be very straightforward, and curious about things and is honest when she doesnt know something. She has been very gracious towards the singhs so far, and she has openly displayed her admiration of anandi...not in any condescending way.

What we see of shiv in BV so far is only his work related persona ... and some people distinguish their personal lives and their professional lives from each other.

Maybe he works hard and plays hard too -- and so then ashi can be his perfect companion for his personal play life.

I mean who would want to discuss the development of Jayetsar 24/7 and make love to someone while discussing a canal project? 😆😆😆 which is what will happen if he marries anandi.

We also cant say what ashi's background is or whether or not she has goals. That is too presumptuous. For all we know, she too might have an MBA in London, and came to Udaipur for a vacation. The point is that shiv wouldnt have a best friend like her unless she added value to his life in some way. He is far too selective in reading people and assessing them before deciding whether he wants to associate with them or not.

I would love for anandi and shiv to hook up ... 😆 but I just provide a counter-point to say that compatibility of professional goals does not necessarily mean compatibility of personal goals/aspirations either.

Also, in Jetsar, Shiv is there to work, he doesn't have much of a personal life other than jogging, etc. There are no parties, he doesn't have any family there, so most of his time is spent in professional work. In any case, I think people spend so much time at work that it is a major part of their lives.
