Ok, before you all jump at me for supporting Jagya, let me first clarify that i m no Jagya-Gauri fan. in fact, I had quit watching BV after Gauri's entry and it's Sid's entry in the show which brought me back to the show and i really like ShivAn track. So, having said that, i would come to the point of this topic:

I want to discuss all your opinions about Jagya's actions today and I mean just today. I know that when in last few episodes when he asked Gauri to join him in Bangalore leaving her job, he was being selfish, but at least today, I feel that he was not behaving selfish and what he did was not wrong at all. Inter city transfers in a chain of hospitals is not something unheard of and people do it every time especially female doctors if they get married to someone in another city. Even the hospital admin was cool about Jagya's request. So, what was the fuss which Gauri was creating today. I could not understand it. Going to Bangalore Jagya would have probably achieved some mental satisfaction of doing what he thinks he wants to do, while Gauri would still have her job in the same hospital but just a different branch, so what was the problem that Gauri reacted in such an absurd manner? I agree that Jagya could have discussed it first with Gauri, but still Gauri's reaction was like she had already decided that she won't go and that's it! That is something I could not fathom. It isnt that she has her family in Mumbai that she should object to moving away from them and Bangalore is also a metropolitan city like Mumbai, so what was the big deal?

Maybe there are better opportunities in bombay in terms of networking or in terms of medical conferences, meeting top experts etc. So she may want to stay.

Anyway, the point is that he cannot go to the hospital admin directly and say "WE are shifting to bangalore" blah blah blah. when "we" have not jointly made that discussion.
At most, he can discuss it with her and convince her and then let her be the one to talk to hospital admin. He has taken her for granted. and how damaging is it to her career at sng if the admin comes to know that she is leaving mumbai? They may not give her opportunities because they think that she is leaving. She should be the one to talk about her transfer... and if she doesnt want to do it voluntarily he should not try to compel her by these backroom discussions with the admin.

Its actually gauri's freedom and rights to advice or bash anyone, but if jagya does the same its wrong:) she can take others decision but others shouldn't do anything related to her without consulting her, starting from her free advice for anandi to not take medical entrance exams till jagya asking about transfer to bangalore.

The point is not about whether there is a comparable opportunity in bangalore or not.
The point is about the fact that he has taken her for granted.

I disagree here. his reaction that day to just ask gauri to leave everything and join him in bangalore can be seen as taking her for granted, but not today's action. honestly he only discussed with the admin if inter city transfer would be possible and that really is no big deal. ideally toh Gauri shud have herself asked the admins of such possibility instead of asking for a low level job for jagiya in that hospital.

I think the issue is that it is not his place to go and enquire about transfer processes regarding her job.
it is her job to discuss that with the management since it is her job and her career.
He should convince her and she should be the one to enquire about transfer processes.

I had tears in my eyes watching scene...
TM, You explained so well...its not easy..
I am no supporter of Jagya...but he emoted his feelings...I am glad he didnt lied his heart...and Gauri...
The problem not with the opportunities, but his thinking...he guessed it right, he was getting ill mentally...no family support nor any friend[real]...gauri busy with herself...
Hope something positive comes out with it...
