she has no expressions because she is not sure what the collector might mistake it to be ..

Before she was very thankful and was speaking respectfully and he showed her attitude so she is like ok, its better just to remain without any show of gratitude or anything cause he just misunderstands.

I LIKE IT

its good for anandi to realize that all sheher walas dont look down on village people... she seems to have accepted jagya's assessment that all villagers are inferior in some way. It challenges her thinking that someone is not making any distinctions or looking down their nose at villagers. Good, she has to realize that jagya was a slimebag. She still feels that there is something inferior about the gaanv because she is looking at herself and villagers through jagya's lenses.
also, i think it was good when he replied that 'ofcourse i will wear your dadi's dhoti kurta and not throw it in a corner. I respect your dadi's pyar."
In contrast, jagya sold the locket that dadi gave him as a symbol of her pyaar.

Honestly inspite of reading all the posts, I did not get it why she walked like that.

  • It did not seem her attitude
  • It made me question Pratyusha's acting skills and also creatives/directors intentions with those blank expressions
  • It made me ponder on the screenplay
  • It had only one meaning...that she agreed to the working relationship between the collector and Sarpanch..so she walked alone in Duty. But then on professional COURTESY LEVEL, Anandi showed absolutely no manners at all. The Collector deserved an ACK by the Sarpanch as the Sarpanch is two or three grades down the collector. The sarpanch actually reports to other officers in the middle and not even directly to the Collector.

Logically what you say is absolutely true...particularly as the character of Anandi is usually so correct and polite...it was rather strange...maybe the cv's feel they need to show another side of Anandi to keep the audience from guessing her next move😕. I personally think the Collector came out looking far better at his reaction. Anandi to me seemed a bit spoilt in her attitude.

I have long since stopped trying to figure out many moves that are made in these serials.😊

😆For me too, the logic is absolutely shot too shridevigaddam.
I mean, if one extends logic, then it is also impolite to stare at your boss and question him on his choice of clothing and his place of worship, and whether he believes in God. 😆😆😆 . I mean that is his personal life and his personal choices. It is also exceeding boundaries to say "I didnt think you were like this"... I mean it is one thing to think it, but completely another thing to VERBALLY SAY IT TO HIM. I would never say anything like that to my boss even if I were surprised. I would just say "good morning sir, very nice to see you here at the temple."
That being said, since the CVs are trying to weave a love story into a professional story, everything goes.
They have a limited amount of time (half an hour) and they have to move the story along. And I guess the goal and intent of all these scenes is to show how Jagya has socialized anandi into believing that both she and villagers are inferior.,... and until now Jagya was the only marker and yardstick she had to map these issues by. Now suddenly, after meeting shiv, and realizing his world views are very different despite being a sheherwala, she realizes that things are very different, and that jagya's world view is not the gold standard to judge herself and village life by. 👏👏👏
The thing about her walking down the stairs is very weird, but I subconsciously feel that she is extremely irritated with dadisas efforts and subconsciously knows that dadisa is trying to pair them up, so she maintains this distance. She does not want to be seen as throwing herself at him perhaps. So she felt, "look i'm honouring your request by sitting in your jeep, but remember that you are the one who asked persistently ...and I didnt ask you for a ride... and also dont think you are doing me a favour because you are not. I am fully capable of walking myself."
That being said, from the other side, there is no need for him to invite her in his jeep for professional reasons either ... if he wants to talk about jayetsar he can just invite her to his office for an official background briefing.
It is obvious that he wants to spend time with her in private without bheem singh and others hanging around. 😆😆😆. and she knows it was unnecessary for him to offer a ride for a five minute walk to her school. 😆

So true !
I feel Anandi is feeling a little trapped and a little bugged by first DS pushing them together and now this fellow piling onto her. She also knows how flimsy the excuse to get to know Jaitser is - but having suffered thru the Shravan episode where basic chit-chat also became a source for gossip - she probably didn't want to be seen standing on the mandir steps and gabbing away.

Am certain she will now try to limit their interaction and her conversation to work alone and keep it from getting personal. Her irritation in the precap about his presence at her school proves that.

It also seems - that maybe - he is already starting to get under skin and has already been in her dreams and she doesn't like the effect he has on her and her Dadisa 😆😉

😆 😆 this is what puzzles me...and here they r showing the opposite..NO collector would give so much attention to an officer(a junior officer at that)
