Let me see how I can answer this. Hrithik Roshan has more flop movies then hits, yet he is a star. Shahid kapoor has more flops then hits still a star...As for telly stars, majority of lead actors are pretty much hit due to one hit serial. For example Hiten Tejwani hit because of Kutumb, not so popular because of PR (I stopped watching it because the lead left and Hiten took over), Same goes for Nishant in RMJ. Also, Iqbal Khan, only hit he has is Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, otherwise pretty much flop serials, yet we die to see him on screen again(or at least I do) Its not the person that becomes hit, but the roles he plays the talent he show cases. And most of all I think its the "character" that makes a actor into a star. So relax, maybe Sid has not received that opportunity yet to become a "star", but he is surely a great actor. Its show business, and remember there is no business like show business...it comes with its shares of ups and downs...both for the actors and the viewers.

Sid S. is goodlooking in a more macho way. He's also older - which is how Anandi's new partner should be. A mature individual with depth of character that Jagya lacks. SS prior projects may have flopped but, his acting in them was decent. I watched JPSYA, he and the kid in it were both watchable. Same goes for his more recent show - which I only watched a few episodes of. Both JPSYA and I love u Zindagi had major story issues and the female leads... well the less said the better!

👍🏼 agree. SS has both good screen presence and is a good actor too. He did his bit well in whichever show he did. cant really blame him for the shows not doing well( agree with you also on the female leads in both mentioned shows😕) I think he will do well in this as well. Also the role of Shiv is that of a serious, silent type of man and he does justice to the role as far as I can see😉

He acts well... and even amitabh bachchan got a flop start!!! even many of his initial movies floped.. but we wnt say he s a flop star cos of that films,,!!v :) so chill..n hAppy for a change in BV!:)
