Here, I think the key is that she craved the legality. Not him. Slimebag has never once tried to give her the security she craves,
And therefore, when it turned out that it was illegal, she should have assured him of her constant support and desire to be with him but forced him to legalize it by giving anandi a divorce.
If on the other hand, she was bound only by her feelings, and did not care about the legality, then she shouldnt be upset about it now.

every woman wants that legality or else she would feel cheap. Im pretty sure Gauri deep down feels cheap and without this legal status she feels insecure. But she didnt leave him when she realised it was illegal. She did try to persuade him but then dropped itShe fulfilled her wifely duties - till she realised that Anandi was still very much a part of their livees and the insecuirty started. Then she started playing mind games.

And that would be great if Jagya/Jagat had appreciated that she stood by him when she realized it was illegal. But the fact is that he hasnt. He has taken her for granted. So now what? I keep coming back to the NOW moment. Not what coulda woulda shoulda happened in the past.
So, now she will have to figure some things out... starting right here in this moment...as to what she wants to do.
But I think this is where our personalities differ ... I just dont waste time anymore trying to figure out whether it was fair, unfair, who should have behaved in what way at what time. Its useless.
The only person I have control over is me myself. And even if something was unfair and wrong, I just focus on "what now?"
Its very hard for me to follow your discussions srkluvr simply because my brain circuitry is not aligned in that direction.
For me, it is very clear, actions speak louder than words.
He may be lovey dovey, but he doesnt acknowledge me and shows no remorse for it either.
His actions have been a clear slap on my face.
whether that is right or wrong is irrelevant. I just dont fight against reality. accept it for what it is and move on to the next course of action.

Youre very right! In fact it was only then tht I realised what Jogia truly was when he lied to Gauri about not being to live in the haveli peacefully without her. What a big fat ugly selfish liar he is when we've clearly seen his joy at playing holi, eyelocks with Anandi and eating that food. At that time the actions caught me louder than words. I have no doubt now, coming to know what he is that he will leave her and if it werent for that poor child I wouldve been happy for it. But he will never suffer and there lies my anger.

She doesnt cos her silly insecure mind still thinks its the family whose doing it on purpose😆 But anywayz the baby is the central thing in all this. With the marriage being illegal they could have both walked out anytime. But the baby ...the baby

In the same forum, it was said earlier when Gauri married Jagya, that she need not have to worry about Anandi. She has to only think about her and jagya's Sacha pyar.
Here too Anandi was as innocent as the kid. So the same logic applies here. Sumitra needed not have to worry about Gauri or her kid. She only wants Jagya back.
And if Jagya comes back leaving Gauri and his kid, the blame should be on Jagya only n not Sumitra.

claps good one

The baby will be fine. And even if they dont acknowledge it now, when push comes to shove, anandi will certainly provide for the baby, even if sumitra and bhairon dont. 😆😆😆.
