exactly!! 😆😆 Today was a very different Gauri. Not grabbing his collar and saying batao batao.
Smooth work! 👏👏

I always skip the Gauri-Jagya parts...cannot stand to watch them anymore. I think the producers should note that they are turning the viewers off by hanging on to this track. There is something terribly sick about this.

I think this show is finished if they continue with this Jagya-Gauri theme. It is sinister and sickening.

Such is their love, as a viewer it makes me cold somehow. In a mean streak, today I want to get lightened on what Gauri evokes in me. She is epitome of self consciousness. I, me and only myself- of an intense sort. And that 'I' is demanding world to revolve according to her notions of correctness, for her wellness and by her convenience. The traumas is a reserved realm for herself-( read, others' inconsequent applicability in that arena)- and obligatory duty of others to bow down in their removals. Her focused stare and 'an- incontrovertible- fact- spoken' tone simply declares an edict, Get me my rightful succour Jagat- steal, bag or trample others, but GET back to me.

Since she is such an extolled example of an 'abundant' Selfhood, I want her to stay that way. I also want two things to happen.
  1. Jagat continue to be in fondness for her.
  2. To continue her specialization she goes abroad courtesy Bade papa. Gets more enlightened with freer air and more erudite minds. Starts finding jagat's company 'juvenile', his views parochial and vernacular, espescially in comparison with liberated minds and their openness. She falls in love with a talented Doctor, tells him about the 'mess' she has been in, and finds her better mate. She reasons her former 'attachment' as a reactionary entanglement resulting out of that 'childhood trauma'. And thus affair with Jagya as not her true love, just a blinding infatuation. On Jagat's alarmed inquiries she explains her uptake of a 'mature', 'conscious' and truer love. She also explains him about their earlier 'friendly' infatuation and advises him to move on. If Jagya reminds her about his affection then she may explain him on operatives of 'pro-choice'. Now if Jagya tries to hinder her, she flatly put him in his place, "Since we were never married 'legally', My current marriage is only legal marriage."

Perhaps too mean a viewer...but just once to have some circles closing their loops.

There is something very sickly about Jagat's continued affiliation with Gauri. There is nothing romantic or pleasnt here, just plain sickening. The producers have destroyed both their characters to such an extent, there may be no return possible.

I would still like to see this Gauri woman leave the show and Jagya and Anandi back together. This is the only way that this show can be saved.

And, where is that Bade Papa? Gauri has sponged off him, but now his is conveniently absent! I hope he comes back and slaps the daylights out of this utterly intolerable Gauri.

But didn't gauri say to jaggu "yeh raat koi pehli baar toh nahi aayi hai tumhari zindagi mein" on their SR in haveli 🤔...so i though she knew about jagya's relationship with anandi, just jagya spun the whole thing into some 😉 non romantic non saccha pyaar variety ...

pjyo - the way i see it is that suhagraat and honeymoon are two different things.

a suhagraat is sort of a family obligation type of thing -- there is no getting out of it really -- just like jabardasti ka rishta -- it can be a jabardasti ka thopa hua suhagraat by elders -- more out of ritual and obligation and custom after anandi came back to singh haveli.
But a honeymoon is something that is planned -- and involves spending a lot of time with each other -- and is after suhaagraat. Which man would go on a honeymoon with a wife he did not really like on the suhaagraat? (particularly if they have been married for 8 years as children and he knew they didnt have anything in common?)
He weaseled out of the suhagraat question - which was okay. But the fact that he has had a honeymoon is an indication there was something more to his relationship with anandi
