@Suchi: I watched the movie so many times I have lost count. Shobhna is awesome. Vidya Balan comparatively did not do justice to the role in Bhool Bhullaiya.

but it wasn't shobana's voice-the whole dialogs are dubbed by dubbing artists here-so its sad that shobana got national award (dialogs delivered by someone else so aadha credit kisi aur kaa ) ...i too felt vidya's performance wasnt as good compared to malayalam version but it was entirely dialogs in her voice

Oh as in the Tamil dialogues? i had no idea about that. To be fair to Vidya Balan, one will always be inclined to something they are used to and the comparisons start in the mind. I have watched Manichitratarzu so many times that I kinda remember all the scenes too. 😃

don't know specifically about those tamil dialogs as nagavalli but the mallu part in most of the movies of hers that i seen are dubbed- so iam guessing even the tamil parts could be🤔--but if national award is given then it should have been entirely her voice naa,half hers half kisi aur kaa🤔..yaa comparisons isn't fair-vidya was brilliant in 'ishkiyan'

Oh yes totally agree, that too sply since its a National Award. I hope they atleast gave credit to the dubbing artist.

Shobana I do not like her cause of Manichitratarzu but her other brilliant performances And if she got a national award then awesome! I didn't know : )

Do not be under the wrong impression Suchi that Balika of the Week is an appreciation thread. I was under that HUGE misunderstanding untill my eyes opened 😆. It is nothing but Bakri of the week. I have never answered so many questions about myself in my life and believe me its not easy. You have to rack your brains. I would be more than happy to convert this into a Shobhana or anyone else's appreciation thread dear. At least I will not have to answer any questions. 😉

its a very popular dubbing artist named bhagyalaxmi,i think her voice was used by many actresses in many films here in kerala--🤔- anita,watch the clip mentioned in this blog from 10th minute ,she is doing the dubbing with movie clip playing in front of everybody in a show and look at the impact of her voice in the scene⭐️--😲see ganga transforming as nagavall😲😲.. -without that voice can you even imagine nagavalli🤔---and thats why i felt it was unfair to give shobana the national award

@Jyo: Wow just saw the clip. What a voice. In Nagavalli's transformation the voice plays such an impact. I like MG Sreekumar and Sarath's comments too after that. MG was closest to her so can expect him to actually have goose bumps like he mentioned. 😆

yeah nobody even knows it was her voice,all credit was given to actress but she deserved a big part of it too...🤔..
