Yeah I thought so. I think this guy is faking it. It seems i mean... seriously even the worst of the criminals would say that hey yeah Id id that cause what ever I don't care... u know

rather than trying to justify their act.

HE is making this up. It might be a real story of some X guy, but he would never come up and try to gain sympathy.

Or am I living in my own small world. Seriously do people do try to find sympathy????

That's why as a primary rule, since I grew up watching and listening this shit I never fell for a Telugu guy. I had many guys at my college trying to grab my attention nevertheless I never found myself giving any heed to any of them. That's by far the best decision I have taken I guess, I can safely say 😆 Not marrying a Telugu.

OK for some reason this above story seems fake and more like a fake incident.

Can this really happen? that a father hates their own child cause of color?

Is that Humanly possible?

ohhh no Suchi - these kind of men do exist. I know two such cases which is very similar to this man's sympathy seeking post.
I live in US and both stories are around immigrants in US from India.
First one is a colleague's sister, I dont know the sister personally just met her once. She is an educated working girl here. So this man married her (both from Andhra too), she is from a rich family so the guy got a good dowry - married very happily to her, came to US. Both lived together very happily with no probs for two years or so. They had a boy when our hero found another girl who is apparently smarter than his first wife. My colleague tells me the real reason is that the "smart" girl holds a US citizen ship and this guy just went after the 2nd girl dumped the first wife like a piece of use and throw napkin. And this first wife waited for him for about ten years living in her fools paradise thinking the guy will come back for her and her son, the man never even went to see his son. But the good part is her parents found a widower for her three years back, she didnt want to marry but the parents somehow convinced her. Now she is married to this really good guy who takes care of her child like his own. They have been married for about three years now. The best part is the boy loves his new dad, calls him dad and has no memory of the real jerk who fathered him.
Second story is my sons friends mom. I met her where my son goes for his outside school activities and this lady again from India brings her son there too. She is a real shy and very naive kind of person and from the beginning I always sensed she wanted to talk to me. One day she came to me sat next to me and started talking to me. I think she was dying to talk to another female. And she told me her story, she is not very educated, didnt speak English when she got married with this a$$ h%$#. Again after a year and half or so of marriage when she became a mom he realised she is not educated enough for him and found an educated girl here. Same case again dumped without a reason, without an explanation -the jerk just walked out on her. She has no job and luckily her brother is in US. He is not yet married and he took her in and is taking care of his sister and nephew. She is completely dependant on her brother. She seems to have learnt enough english to converse now and she asks me advice on how to get a job etc. Really sad case and the boy has never seen his dad. He is such a cute and intelligent kid just looking at him brings tears to my eyes. I hope he grows up and teaches this man a lesson.
So there are real Jagats out there guys, these SOB's dont even acknowledge their own kids. Just sad- plain sad. This is just a show for many of us but in reality there are many many women who live through this.

Vikram,

This is absolutely inhumane. I can't believe people in the 21st century still think like this. I agree with the other comments as to why you didn't man up and say NO to your father. Are you that of a wimp? Are you that gullible? Or are you just a selfish, oblivious, canniving, egoistic, heartless man? Who in their right mind would ever say their daughter is ugly? People like you should be shunned from the society. You have no morals and no respect for anyone else. All you think about your selfish self. You are a fool and your current wife is even a bigger fool to marry a man like you. I can't believe you couldnt stand up to your father when it matter the most. It is true money does blind people. You are a living proof. You have ruined lives. Your poor ex-wife and your daughter never deserved this.
If you are a man I suggest you go back to India, apologize to your ex-wife and your DAUGHTER. She deserves a better life than this. She is a little girl who just wants to be loved by her father. Imagine the pain she will have to go through on father's day. Giving them money to stay away from you doesn't mean anything. I think they should sue you for emotional distress, lying, and cheating. Men like you are disgust to our society. GROW UP DUDE.

No sympathy with you, sir, especially after reading your comments on your ex-wife and your own daughter. You weren't 12 years old when you got married, so you could have said no. Was the dowry the reason you said yes?

This post just brings about a whole other issue...

Rach, I mean honestly I thought that things are getting better but I guess, its getting worser now.

I don't know.

Women are getting educated and Men are getting more greedy - seems like.

They now want a

'slave for their parents

'Big dowry candidates

+

Working woman who can be a safe source of Income for them.

So now, women not only have to cook, clean, be a mother, wife, but also be a bread earner and not to mention, come with a safe deposit [dowry]

I cannot resist saying that I am amaized at how conveniently you are trying to justify your acts by identifying with a fictional character. You want people to support Jagya so that your guilt feeling is hurt less? You should be ashamed of yourself. to the best of my knowledge I have never made any nasty comments on this forum but I will have to make this exception. It is needed for people like you who treat other human beings as commodities. What do you mean by I sent my first wife back to India? She is your legally wed wife and not the illegal dowry you got when you married her (i wanted to use a worse word for this but am resisting myself), which I am sure you are using very happily. And what do u mean by u did not have the freedom to choose? you met her before your wedding and if you did not like her you could have refused. the reasons for which you "sent" her back after bearing a child would have been very clear on the very first time you saw her. Learn to rise higher than the looks of a person to judge them. your superficial thoughts and friends are going to lead you nowhere. you are ashamed of your daughter but mark our words she will be ashamed of you one day.

BTW the Jagya supporters do not support his actions only his right to choose which was not taken away from you and besides that there are a lot of things that make both of your situations poles apart.
