I said five weeks ago on the forum that J will try the child marriage line with her with sindoor, maang and all that bullshit. And he has done exactly that. If this serial was against child marriage there would have been no attempt to sanctify J-G child marriage through repeated sindoor symbolsim and through a second, repeat marriage. Jag who keeps on saying that he is against child marriage would never ever, whatever the compulsion, have said I filled your maang as a child so it is divine symbolism. The so-called educated Gauri would have been repulsed by the argument instead of falling for it. If it is divine symbolism why was that marriage nullifed? Should we take this as symbolism that in future this marriage will break? This is the same old ghisa, pita sindoor-mangalsutra saas-bahu soap we have seen 1000 times before. One man, many marriages, nice bahu, evil bahu, all with sindoor and mile-long dangling mangalsutra. It is so pathetic. And the serial makers tell us they are against child marriage. If they had the guts they would have never made the same child jodi grown up and fall in love. What is the relevance of that child marriage in all this? Why show the sanctity of that marriage? Why could they not make G just another girl and then show the conflict between the families? Pathetic Cowards!!.
If BV does not educate Anandi -- which is the only thing that interest me now -- I would rate this serial as worse than its contemporaries. At least they don't pretend or moralise big time.
And another thing. It is so convenient for G now to decide that anandi can be discarded and she and J can marry. She created a riot and cried an ocean ( the rain in which J was shivering was caused by her tears 😛) because she was humiliated as a child and because J's family wouldn't accept her as a second child bride. What about the humiliation and hurt caused to Anandi who was married to J for 16 years? In an interview G conveniently said A can go and study. What did J do when A topped the tenth board? He burnt up in jealousy and ensured that DS would not allow her to study. Selfish creatures both of them.
