truly yaar... initially when the show wasnt even launched, i had heard that this was a story conceived years back and originally a script for a movie etc etc... but wonder where that stong plot line went!! doesnt seem to be having any solid plot as of now...

Actually sudss - there were 2 versions of Balika Vadhu. One in Bengali with Sachin and Moushami and the other in Hindi with Sachin and someone else. The Bengali one was very good and such a touching film.

That storyline just would not work in a serial because there were no bad guys!!!!!!😉 or negative characters. There were the usual ups and downs that are related to a child marriage but were handled beautifully.

This plot may have the same name but in no way does it resemble the original film script ........so here we are watching a convoluted theme.😕

Gosh I did not even know something like this was planned. But look what the scriptwriter had in mind and the message that is coming through in BV.😕 Not quite what he had in mind.

I now hear the channel is going to give Jagya and Anandi's marriage a bit of a holiday and concentrate on Phooli. Whilst I really like Phooli's character and feel that she deserves happiness, widow remarriage, education for widows has already been covered so why again?? This time around they are going to portray Phooli as a frustrated girl writing letters to herself. What do they get...demeaning a girl like this???
Obviously they are running out of ideas and material and making things up as they go along. Words fail me but nothing on this channel surprises me anymore.

Uttaran had the ambitous maid's daughter turn into a doormat, Kashi (on NDTV) ended with the girl being married off, BV has Anandi forget all her dreams and only try to please Dadisa. In the Doordarshan days TRPs were not such a factor, so the shows tended to be more consistent, nowadays you just have to keep the drama going, story be damned.

Absolutely agree with everything you said👍🏼 I had totally stopped watching hindi serials after the "K "saas bahu melodramas on starplus . Then BV happened-a genuine attempt at highlighting the ill effects of child marriage ,it had a fresh approach ,less melodrama,felt like real india and the kiddo jodi with dadisaa had me glued to tv again😍 ..

yeahi too read the author purnendu shekar had the movie script for many years before it turned a serial ...well theen ghante kii script😉 ko theen saal se chalaa rahe hain😆 ...After streching it for soooooooo long strong storyline dilute ho gayaa..😆

about the phooli trak... i love that girl - phooli... btw, are they bringing in a new face for the track? read somewhere about some new name.. wonder what all thts about!

widow remarriage at the right age would be such a welcome change to me... phooli's so called second marriage was when she was still a child...so this one would be good... now she is beter educated... more level headed and all that - i.e. as far as we know... ab to god know what they are gonna shape her into 😔 the crying phooli wont look good at all 😔

as about her 'eccentricity' i am ok with is as long as they show it positively. we all find some means to escape the bitter situations in life, dont we??... there are many who writes poems... many who takes up some hobbies... some focus in studies or work... so dont find it wrong if phooli writes letters to herself, i.e as long as she is still in touch with reality - as long as she hasnt lost her consciousness... may be its just a means to cope with the tough realities of life without hurting anybody, without crossing the limits the society has set.. and still finding her happiness in her own way, i wouldnt count it bad.. in fact i feel good as long as i get to see the perfectly sane and ever smiling phooli 😊. ur thoughts?

Yes, I totally agree that within the bounds of positivity and reality there is no harm in her writing to herself. We all have had at some time or the other dreamt the impossible, had day dreams, imagined a knight in shining armour so why shouldn't Phooli have hers too?? Very good observation👏

My only worry is when I read that Anandi will rescue or help Phooli out............my overactive imagination begins to wonder........... now what??? My faith in this channel has been severely tested in the serials I watch and so my first thought is OMG what have the CV's in mind or Oh dear not something negative again!!!!

Maybe I am being unfair to the CV's and they may surprise me!!!!Let me for a change be positive😊
