Avinash Mukherjee, commonly and popularly known as Jagdish or Jagya from Sphere Origin's show Balika Vadhu is on cloud 9.

Avinash celebrated his birthday on 1st August and guess what; he received a brand new car from his father as a birthday gift

"Yes I have gifted him a black Swift Desire car. Everyday I had to drop him to his shoot, which was becoming difficult for me. So I thought of gifting him a car along with a driver. Now that he has his own car and driver, he doesn't have to depend on me," confirms Avinash's father.

Avinash may not have the pleasure to drive the car but surely he is one of the lucky kids to own a car at such a tender age.

Bhairavi's back on Balika Vadhu

Bhairavi Raichura, who plays Anandi's mother in the Balika Vadhu, had been missing from the show for a while, and was shown in the show to have gone on a char dham ki yatra.
The actress is now back and tells us she had gone on a family trip.

"I was in Australia for three weeks with my husband, mother and sister," she says. "It was a much-needed break, and I made the most of it by participating in many adventure sports. The most terrific experience was skydiving from an altitude of 14000 ft. There was a breathtaking freefall for 60 seconds."

As for the show, Bhairavi says, "I will now be informed by Anandi's bapu that he has mortgaged a part of our land for Sugna's wedding gift. I am very worried when I hear this. To find out what happens after that, you have to watch the show."

The character's name is very rare and it is not heard any where, while this character has made Vibha Anand very famous. In the serial she is the sister of Jagya and she is married to Shyam. Its her second marriage.

Imagine refused Ballika Vadhu
Balika Vadhu has now become Colors' pride but the envy of other channels. Well, if rumours are to be believed, one such channel had the first choice but it chose to ignore this Sphere Origins production.

An industry insider informs, "Even before Colors was launched, the production house had offered two shows, Balika Vadhu and Dharam Veer to NDTV Imagine. However, Imagine wasn't optimistic about Balika Vadhu's chances as they felt a show with children as protagonists wouldn't work. So, they opted for Dharam Veer. Balika is among the top shows today while Dharam Veer has long gone off air."

Heeba Shah to reprise aunt's role

The daadisaa of Balika Vadhu will now be seen as a younger Kalyani in her happy-go-lucky days, so audiences and her on-screen family members will come to know more about her past.

Actress Heeba Shah, daughter of veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, will be seen in the role of the young widowed matriarch.

The older Kalyani, fondly known as daadisaa who controls the entire household, is played by Surekha Sikri, who happens to be Heeba's aunt. Heeba told the press, 'Yes, I am doing a TV show after a long time. The only reason I agreed to play the younger version is because it's my aunt's role in the show.'

The show's creative head, tells us, "It will be interesting for viewers to see a young daadisa and find out what made Kalyani the way she is. She will be shown in a flashback; the older Kalyani will continue on the show like before."

Heeba's entry as the younger Kalyani will take place in this Friday's episode and will continue next week as well.

Heeba Shah on her comeback

Heeba Shah, the daughter of veteran actor Nasseruddin Shah, is back on TV in Balika Vadhu, playing the younger version of Kalyani, also known as daadisa in the show. A 1999 graduate of the National School of Drama, Heeba did tele-serials back in the 1990s but wasn't seen on TV after that.

She tells us about her comeback: "It's great to be back on TV after so many years and I'm doing this serial only because of my aunt. She is a wonderful actress. Though I don't have any scenes with her, I spoke to her on the phone and she was very happy. I will be in the serial for only a few episodes. I hope people like me as the younger Kalyani." She adds, "I don't want to do serials, especially daily soaps, because they take up a lot of time. My first love is theatre, but I'm open to travel shows which are more interesting."

If not an actor: Then I would be in this industry as a dancer.

Sphere Origin's Balika Vadhu is all set to take an interesting turn. The upcoming episodes will witness the chapters from Kalyani's past.

Anandi's father Kajan Singh will go to Mahavir Singh to buy his mortgaged land back, but Mahavir Singh will snub him. Kajan Singh will then go to Kalyani for help, but Kalyani will refuse to recognize any Mahavir Singh. Anandi will listen to the conversation between them and go to Jagya for help. They will then go to Mahavir Singh and tell him that they are grandson of Kalyani and request him to return back the papers.

Kalyani will come to know about this, and give a sound scolding to Anandi for instigating Jagya to convince Mahavir Singh.

According to our sources, "Mahavir Singh is Vasant's tauji and he had created mishap in Kalyani's life in the past."

Kalyani remembers all the incidences in the flashback, where Heeba Shah plays her younger version.
