So much fuss over that wall since the first epi...symbolism aside, the moment Stephanie appears to whine about that wall, I can't help but roll my eyes...that woman is a total pain.

I found today's epi to be an improvement over whatever yesterday's epi was supposed to be. Editing waale bhaiyya came back from whatever meth high he was on.

A little more of the usual Meera-Abhi dynamic...first in the earring scene and later on in the last wall breaking scene.

LOLL@ Meera and Aman deciding to get married cuz their families approve of the match😆...maadern clothes mein orthodox thinking...sahi hai😆

I liked the scene when Meera tried to make her little "is this guy my soulmate" list...thankful that she didn't randomly start seeing Abhi with her eyes closed...also thankful for lack of SRK mimicry from Abhi today.

For a little bit there, Abhi bechara actually relaxed enough to even happily offer to bring extra daaru for his nikamma chacha Ramraj...alas, it wasn't meant to last.

Meera made an effort to dress up for the first time since the show started and dono ladke clean bowled😆...also nice to see her mother showing some perceptiveness and asking her if she's taking this decision under pressure.

Two things I didn't quite get:

1) Why was Meera trying to take the blame for the wall being destroyed? She insisted on claiming she was driving even when Aman surprisingly tried to show the decency to admit his mistake😕

2) What is Ramraj's secret? A loan he needs to pay off? Looks he's going to steal from the homestay's earnings.

Oh yeah the editing was much better today as compared to yesterday's disaster. It still wasn't at par with the episodes in the first week, but oh well.

Lol@ the wall and Stephanie showing up randomly just as it tumbles! What is up with her and her super whiny attitude?! She is a perpetually unsatisfied person.
Either way, I still don't get why Meera took the blame on herself before Amanda even stepped out to confess? It's not like Aman had hinted of not owning up to his error. Wonder if they'll elaborate on her reason to take the blame.

So, she, who claims to do anything that makes HER happy, just agrees to the alliance based on one meeting?! Just so that her dad would be proud of her? It was good to see her mom sorta probe more outta her. That moment of her tallying pros and cons of accepting the proposal was something I would totally accept from her. She is such a naive soul...a sheltered free bird I guess.
@ chacha's secret--- maybe he's done some tax fraud relating to the home stay . it might come into play later, especially with Meera's dad being an IAS officer or govt bureaucrat. (Don't IAS officers tackle tax frauds or something?not aware of Indian policies such)

Heya Amy, I was wondering if you'd already quit the show😆...I kinda almost did and reluctantly watched the epi with some trepidation today...but it wasn't that bad so figured I'd make a post.

The Stephanie has been annoying me since day one but I was enjoying the other scenes so didn't dwell on her much.

I get that the wall is supposed to be a symbol of all that is messed up in Abhi's life and can be built up again but yeh Stephanie is total bheja fry.

Re: Meera's 'happy logic'...lol arey she will say that making her dad happy makes HER happy so logic proved😆

Yeah she is sheltered naive soul in many ways...a free spirit but still quite naive...did you notice how skittish she was around Aman? I've only seen her fully relaxed since day one...even with the Pants, she instantly was touchy feely with most of them...even Abhi...but this Aman guy legit makes her uncomfortable and she was trying her best to avoid letting him touch her today...

I'm totally stumped by Meera' rushing to take the blame for the wall...it was this odd moment where it seemed like her and Aman were trying to protect each other and I was 😕😆

Also Abhi's reaction was kinda intriguing too...you could see how devastated he was about the wall but still managed to gather himself up and focus on checking up on Meera and Aman for injuries etc.

Re: IAS officers...yeah they are related to the tax department too I think...any administrative branch in the govt, they can be employed with.

Ramraj is fully capable of any of this shit...totally shady character...maybe that's how they will loop the Raizadas in...

I was almost gonna skip today's episode too but then I decided to give it a try again. They were able to salvage it somewhat today.
Anyways, I did notice her discomfort with Aman right from the moment he first walked in. She was trying to present herself in an "expected" way whereas with Pants and Abhishek, she was in her general free spirit.
And ummm how creepy can that Aman guy get?! He sees that she is not comfortable with barely their elbows touching and there he goes about wanting to hold her hand just because she agreed to the alliance. Such a D- bag!

@ ramraj--- something's really off with him. At first when he got that post, I thought that it was a letter from abhishek's dad or something.

@precap-- wonder why Amma is advising Abhishek to keep Meets out of the house?

@stephanie-- lol yeah I try to ignore her as well...but she keeps popping up with her whiny face 😆 .

abhishek's probably not going to take money for rebuilding the wall and he might just start doing it himself while the rest of the family just cribs about the loss and Meera's totally going to end up assisting him.

Hello Anu, nice to see you around. 😊

I'm still catching up on the episodes. Have three more to watch before I'm fully updated but I did catch up on last night's episode. I guess every show is so pro with their random shenanigans that Tuesday's epi was just like normal khichdi for me. But I guess once I catch up to the full thing I'll get a better gist of what are the bad days and which one are the good days of this show 😆

Genie did say to me however it was the first low the show had every since it kicked off so let's hope it doesn't repeat itself.

I liked Meera a little last night. Upto and until the date part anyway. For once she was out of her happy-go-lucky zone and we saw a different shade of her with the confusion and dilemna of how to know if Aman is the one. The bit about the mother was nice too. But well I doubt her mother is going to read anything further than that in her daughters decision to marry.

However meera's sketch is so loose and I guess we all agree to that so there's no point me repeating all that. Only time will tell, whether she will ever be able to take me into confidence about her char or not.

I would like to mention a few this about Abhi's character though. Obviously the first being that the guy is doing a superb job. I'm pleasantly surprised with the way he emotes actually. Very real and grounded.

Last night's scene of when he had to pay the 3000 rupees for the wall was a great scene tbh. It's such a simple and ordinary scene but I must commend them for the way it was directed/edited and acted of course. The simple and involuntary movements of his hands fidgeting in his pockets to pay the cash payment. The apprehensions and the instant stress that a middle class individual faces when he has to pay an amount like that which he wouldn't usually carry in his wallet was just so human and I loved the mixed emotions on Abhi's face. The relief of the wall being complete but the stress of losing a large amount all at once out of their monthly quota.

His chacha being the kameena, obviously has messed up somewhere with some loan. And I guess Abhi is going to lose out on the payment money somewhere, putting them in a fancial and/or stressful toss. Let's see if that becomes a means for us get to see variant qualities and expressions of Meera.

i know anu these week episodes so far were quite disappointing and u feel like as if ur watching a complete different show...Yesterday's one is little better than tuesday's episode but frankly couldn't enjoyed becoz of seeing too much screen space given to douche aman n his so called lust...i have actually lost hopes when meera said yes to marriage and she is contradicting her own theory...*Mein bas kush rehna chahta hu* has completely gone into background with this typical desi girl doing for the sake of her family...Even meeting at cafe doesn't make sense they could have talked through webchat just like she did with her sis kam se kam deewar toot tha hi nahi...😆then taking the blame on her is completely out of character...is it the same girl who exposed that chacha so easily who gave peanut oil instead of olive oil??
Namita need to work on emoting quite well she looked bland here n there in the past 3 episodes...
rest couldn't agree more with you👍🏼

In one of the episodes Meera said you cannot make everyone happy unless you are not happy. So yesterday she took the decision of marrying A man because her whole family is happy? 😕. I hope she comes around and changes her decision. And this Aman🤢. Looks like he wants a trophy wife. 😆
Same here even I didn't get it. Why did she take the blame? 😕

Yeah the Aman guy has been creepy from the get go and makes no secret of how utterly shallow he is...definitely not interested in getting to know Meera in as much as as "acquire" her as some kind of property...typical MCP.

I also initially thought it might be a letter from Abhi's dad but the way Ramraj was acting, seemed like some kind of debt collector letter.

Yeah does look like Abhi's gonna take it upon himself to build the wall cuz doesn't seem like he has any money left to pay the laborers anyways ahd he has too much self-respect to take it from Meera or Aman...

Maybe this wall will finally succeed in driving a wedge b/w Aman and Meera and Aman can then get lost from this story😆

Hey Twinkle, nice to see you here :) Did Genie drag you over?😆

Yeah we're sort of recovering from Tuesday's disaster...the first two weeks of this show didn't give us any cause to think it's usual TV khichdi, hence the shock...getting over it slowly now😆

I liked Meera in yesterday's epi too...a slightly different shade as you said...her free spirit nature aside, she was a little anxious yesterday as she tried to make this decision and follow through with it...but yes, as is the problem with most shows...they don't always follow through on little moments like the mom showing that anxiety...let's see how it goes here.

Also great point on the 3000 rupees scene...it's little bits like that that probably still make me come back to the show...there wasn't anything overt about the scene...but you could feel all the emotions Abhi was feeling as he tried to dig up the money...something really touching about it.
