u know usually i watched other itv shows mostly i only liked the leads or relate to them , other characters probably 2-3 of them, but in this show i actually liked the leads and the entire supporting cast too. everyone is doing so well be it brinda, adi, pihu, shubham, and nandini the actress she is nailing her role.

also i noticed this is one show where none of them really quit so far , they r either inactive but they dont quit for no reason. there was some issue relating bri in between but good it got sorted out. even when shivina’s character ended its not cause the actress quit n she really missed the show. she still likes balh2 related posts and even had a video call with pihu. i like the healthy bonding the cast share offscreen too.

A girl after my own heart. Sure IB is OTT, cheesy and many times even illogical but it has a certain charm because of the chemistry between the actors (not only between the leads but between every one of them). Let me also mention that I absolutely HATED Shivaay's character for the first 150 episodes or so. But they actually managed to give him a good character arc from being an unbearable, rich, elitist, classist, snob to a decent human being who overcame all his prejudices. And Nakuul gave some of his best performances in that show, be it when he finds out the truth about his mom being the reason for their separation or the one where he saves his house from getting auctioned or when he plays a jilted lover in the redux version, to break Annika's marriage, he completely stole my heart with his acting. I went from absolutely despising his character to falling head over heels in love with him, in huge parts because of the way Nakuul played him. But yeah, it is a slow and long process.

PS: I know many of you might not like IB but this is just my personal opinion, so please dont throw jooti, chappals at me😳

I agree with most of your points dear! If I have to compare it to other trash on TV especially the current top 5 fictional shows, BALH2 with all its loopholes is better than them. I watched few episodes of GHKKPM at one point and I felt like puking 🤢 Anupama felt progressive at one point but they overdid the middle age romance and the kids on the show barring Samar (now the actor playing this character was axed from the show 😆) are toxic AF. Especially the daughter and there were so many times I felt like jumping into the screen and slapping her. Haven't seen Imlie, so donno. Bhagyas toh I am so annoyed even without watching them, I have cursed audience more than EK 🤣 Its coz of them these shows are on air. Infact audience needs to be blamed. If they rejected this khachra why will makers continue to make such crap shows? The cast on this show has bonded very well and I love watching their offscreen masti. I so wish Sneha was still in the show 😭 All the actors are doing a good job. My only gripe is the friend circle should have been utilized well. They have been used for fillers rather a means to propel the story forward. I guess the disappointment stems from the fact that Ekta made something so good but reduced it to the same state as her other shows.

One thing I will disagree here is about 1-2 actresses who are good from Ekta camp. Ekta has a good eye to recognize potential and nurture their career even when they are not doing her show. Take Sakshi Tanwar, Jennifer Winget, Mona Singh or Sriti Jha (not referring to KKB but anyone who has seen her in SB back in her early days will agree she is a good actress). Or Mouni or Shraddha Arya (again not coz of another Bhagya serial but her previous shows were good). They are at the top of their game today and its not fluke. If you are referring to her on air shows, maybe yes. Lesser said about Naagins, Bhagyas or Mohabbatein, Chahatein better 😆

I only liked few things about Anupama. Not all. And only for a brief while. I liked how she took a strong stand and did not sway when the truth about her husband came out in front of her. But can’t say much beyond that. Rupali is a good actress but she is made to come across as OTT here.

I will sound like elitist/classicist/xyz cist bt this show fl are soooo gorgeous like disha, nandini actress, even vedu sara haye. Compare it to star which is number gec but actress?? 👎🏼 acting chodo look wise v bekar. Same with colors. Zee has pretty actresses like mugdha, kdb wali actress and all.
