Even the sight of her is loathsome. She may not be as bad a character as Nandini or Heera Vedu, but she's about 10 times more repulsive.

So Sara's still a waste of space and Priya still sick, still too much artificial connecting of the child with the parents, same old shyte.

But have to give it to Nakuul. He was really good in the scenes with the minister. I wish old Priya had been there...this one is so wishy-washy and unremarkable.

Completely agree with you about MM and Sara. Coming to Ram, I am annoyed at the way he is treating that child. No matter how sad he is or how broken he is, that was downright mean and so unlike Ram (1.0 or 2.0). They have butchered Ram’s character so badly. MM is still a waste of space for me. Though annoying I can still ignore her but Ram? It’s difficult to keep him aside and watch the show given I loved it at one point coz of his character.

So true. She talks when she should shut up, and stayed mum when she could have tried to do some good.

Yeah, I skipped most of the parts with Pihu and Ram. Just saw the precap. I suspect they INTEND those interactions to be kiddish, but in that case, Nakuul's missed the brief. And if they intend him to be vicious with a 5-year-old, no words.

Nakuul is a pretty competent actor...I doubt he misread the character! And the dialogues that go with his interactions indicate that they are making him act really mean with the kid. Pihu said as much yesterday...that she does not like him so he is supposed to make himself unlikable!

The Ram Pihu scenes are an absolute putoff! The season one Ram Pihu scenes were so beautifully done...I seriously feel Ekta and her cronies have lost their marbles to think anyone is enjoying this fare...

She is an overacting ki dukaan! Even before leap sometimes she used to give such confusing expressions I could not figure out what exactly she wanted to convey. As for her redemption, they did not even bother to show any interaction between her and Ram during the engagement party...five years after the huge betrayal and it was like just another day in the BALH universe! The incompetence and half baked approach to characters arcs is truly mind blowing in this project. I don't watch any of the regular ITV shows but don't know if the Bhagyas and Nagins are equally bad in terms of continuity and basic common sense etc.

Quite true, Nakuul is extremely competent, which means maiyya and minions are using his goodwill to push the boundaries of obnoxious stuff in this nightmare.

Apparently, they're going further with the sick mindset that the worse things get, the more the joy 🙄 when it resolves. Only, they suck at resolution. Some will be satisfied at anything where the leads reunite, while too many will be left burned for life at what they brought the early show to.

Its not kiddish and it is annoying when I think of MM saying this is pyaar between baap beti. Their banter was more stress inducing than fun. I feel so bad for Pihu. She is the one who is being mature with this grown up man child 😵 Nakuul is only doing what his director is asking him to and the director is going by the story. I donno who to blame here.

Ram Pihu scenes were a treat to watch in s1 but here it is so stressful. I get it Ram has turned bitter coz of the lie and that had everything to do with the kid. But no matter how much you change, your core as a person does not change even though few external factors drive you. The makers in a bid to introduce a change, ruined the characters. Both Ram and Priya. You can still overlook Priya coz while u find her stupid u can overlook her flaws. But Ram's is glaring in the eye. How can you be so mean to a child? You were not this person when your first girlfriend dumped you for a richer guy. You continued to love her despite that. Now when you think your wife betrayed you - I get it you are mad. But why will you be mean to people who have nothing to do with your wife?

He got to know Pihu is Priya's daughter just yesterday. First promising to give her a cup cake. You are rich enough to buy out all the cup cakes in the world. But you get petty for giving one to a small kid whom you don't even know but you are being father figure to a boy who belongs to a family you hate? How weird is that?

And he is blaming Pihu for what happened with Kanika. Even before Pihu struck him, she was making a move on Ram and Ram was trying to get away. What if the minister had caught them then itself? Who would he blame? He bought the merry go round with his money so that the kid could be deprived of some small joy in her life? That one small moment of joy is enough to brighten Pihu's day. What did that mean to him in any case? I literally felt sick yesterday.

Before the leap happened I came across one of EK's old shows Dil Hi Toh Hai which had a similar track where the heroine lies to the hero ki she is having an affair with someone else and even when she will be pregnant with his kid, lies to him that the child belongs to the other guy. There the hero had been an arrogant flirt at start but after meeting the heroine he changes for the better. Post her lie he goes to back to being his former self but it was amplified. Yahaan pe Ram was a good natured guy right from the start. I agree he won't be his former cheerful self but how could he change so drastically that it feels like an entirely different character?

Bang on!!

You know he reminded me of the Grinch from those Christmas movies/stories yesterday…mean and angry…when he bought the ride simply to deprive the little kid of one more round!!

What a downfall!!

Her expressions are confusing. She says one thing but does another. Becoz of MS Priya nearly died. Y didn't she confront him and warn him to stay away from her and her daughters? It does not align with Priya's image of her where she raised all the girls by herself. For that, you need to be a strong independent woman and this woman has been spineless from day 1. As a writer, can't they not build the characters well at least? No connection whatsoever.

I have seen Naagin S1 and it was good for a major part of the season. At the start of the season, you have another naagin Sesha who is the heroine aka Shivanya's cousin cum accomplice in her revenge saga. Sesha is shown to be a no nonsense badass naagin whose only focus is helping Shivanya get her revenge for her parents' murder. While Shivanya has married the hero who belongs to the killer's family (but the guy is innocent and good hearted and Shivanya is aware of this), I can understand Shivanya mellowing down coz of her budding feelings for her husband. But Sesha would have always found the hero annoying coz whenever she had shape shifted to take Shivanya's form to make up for her absence, the hero's PDA would have annoyed the crap out of her. Out of no where, she develops feelings for the hero and becomes a vamp. No sense whatsoever. Even if they had shown Sesha attracted to the hero at start, it would have made sense. Ulta, she found him repulsive. Or even if they had shown her turn negative for the greed of power alone, it would have made sense. But not coz of the hero. The subsequent seasons - dont ask me plz coz I gave up after the first or max second episode 😆

Bhagyas no idea - reading articles gave me a headache and for a long time, more than cursing the show or makers, I cursed the audience for giving it TRP 😛
